"This hotel is very well located and has a wonderful view from our window. But window covers were not working properly… so one window was always with lights- it can’t be covers. Bathtub couldn’t let water to drain because it was always closed , so I must place a little plastic to make it open to drain water. Valet parking was not so smooth and easy… but generally we enjoyed to stay there. Those small things did not make us uncomfortable… we hope if next time we are coming- they will be fixed!;)"

"I know the price may seem inviting but just don't stay here. The room I had was disgusting. Stains on the mattress cover, the bed sheet and the pillow was filthy with no cover. There was also a random piece of metal sticking out on the side of the bed perfectly placed at ankle height. The room smelled of smoke and damp, which would probably explain all the bugs. The air conditioning took some coaxing but I finally got it going. The toilet had no cover and a broken seat. Inside the toilet was a band aid and a bug having a swim. I had to go the the check-in and get toilet paper, a towel and soap as there was none when I arrived. The bath had one the taps broken off, not that I would have used it - as was the entire room - dirty. The door separating the main room and the bathroom was water damaged and falling apart at the bottom. It says there is free Wi-Fi but that is not the case. There is no Wi-Fi. They wanted to keep my driver's license until I checked out. I said "no" and they asked for a $200 cash deposit. I offered $6, and they accepted. When I went to check out I rang the bell and waited. After 10 minutes of ringing the bell with no response I went to the side door and banged on that, and only then did someone reluctantly come to the desk. If I had any other choice I would have been out of there. As soon as I got home, I stripped off in the garage put all my clothing in a hot wash, and had a long shower. Still feel dirty. "

"Communication was great, house was so pretty & very clean, furniture was up to date & very comfortable, great parking in the driveway for 1 vehicle - does have a garage but we didn't use it, and the kitchen was very nice & stocked with essentials. The only small draw back is the neighborhood is a little sketchy but there is a lot of newly updated houses going up in the area. The block we were on was very quiet & clean but I definitely wouldn't go walking anywhere in this area. We utilized uber to get us everywhere and fortunately the theater was super close and lots of great places to eat in the area. I definitely recommend going to the Culpepper Steakhouse - so good, great vibes, and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay here again - I never felt unsafe but I was super cautious, however, it was just females on this trip and you have to be cautious traveling no matter where you go. Price was good, house was super cute & comfy, and the host was amazing! Highly recommend!"

"First in the weeks leading up to my stay it took the host days to respond to messages, including the day I was traveling. The Vrbo emails stated it’s quicker to contact the property manager. In this case one in the same. I was driving from another state and if I hadn’t stopped driving and checked my email I would not have known the access code to enter the house until I got there at 1 am. I repeatedly asked them in the days prior what the check in process was w/no response until I was 2 hours away. When they did finally respond to a message it was a generic reply w/o answering my question. Once there I still had to wait some time for a response to inquiries. Each of the 2 bedrooms had one set of sheets each which were ill fitting, one thin blanket each, no soap, no shampoo & zero towels whatsoever. I had to repeatedly message for these items and after a full day a bag of 2 bottles of body soap and no shampoo, and just two cheap thin dollar store bath towels was left w/o notifying me. No hand towels or wash clothes at all. The fridge & freezer had items from previous guests in it, the rugs were stained and dirty looking and the general cleanliness of the house seemed seedy at best. The locks on the doors were loose and dangling and difficult to lock and the towel racks in one bathroom were dangling off the wall and the 2nd bathroom had no mirror. All in all I would be ashamed if I was a host of this caliber. Truly money wasted. I would have been better off at a Motel 6. "
