Our stay was made more memorable by the courtesy shown from our hostess Carolyn who gave us much information on her lovely home and it's idyllic setting. "A very unique property out of a Steven King mystery. The bathroom had a wonderful handpainted mural. Couple of miner things, light over bathroom sink did not work and no tissues in room."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. iT IS A RIP-OFF. I GOT THErE EARLY AND HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO GET INSIDE THE PROPeRTY EARLY. THIS IS A HOARDER HOME THAT SMELLS LIKE CAT PEE. BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SCARED TO STAY ThERE. Also they suggest you have dinner there and the place is overgrown with plants. Truly in 44 years of traveling in the US and around the world this is the worst place to stay that I have ever been. We left and called Expedia to cancel even before the check in time and the owner...

"This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. "
