"The staff I interacted with were the nicest staff I've ever met at a hotel! Very helpful. The Inn has a collection of books in the main lobby and guests are encouraged to pick a book to read and TAKE IT HOME! What a cool idea! The INN is a bit dated in the decor, and given it's age it showed some dents and dings as expected. The only issue I had was when a mini-monsoon rainstorm hit the area and caused a leak in the roof of my room. I let staff know about it and they were attentive."

"The room smelled very bad like stale cigarettes. There was A large hole in the bathroom wall above the toilet with a plastic bag shoved into it. The linens were also dingy and look very old and worn out. "

"What a beautiful property! This house was obviously set up and maintained with love. It is comfortable and convenient and was a great base for our weekend trip. The only very minor note I would mention is that if you are sensitive to fragrances, there are a couple plug-in air fresheners (easily unplugged), and the hand soaps and dish soap are all scented. Would definitely recommend this property!"

"It looks like Marlene and her creative self has been working very hard for many years to turn this house into the magical, artistic and fun place that it is! We have stayed in some amazing places through the years, but NEVER anyplace like this! It is magnificent! It’s a variable museum and we LOVED it! The surrounding outdoor spaces are also wonderful. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful house."
