"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The view of the lake was great. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the boats. I walked down to the lake and swam around for a few min in the morning. The AC kept the room cool but it was too noisy. Next time I will bring earplugs. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will come back. Next time we will stay longer so we can rent a boat."

"Its a super historic hotel. Its not modern day or a chain. Its a one of a kind and all the old charm and history are still there. Its had better days but it was amazing for the price and experience. Still beautiful. "

"Choose this hotel because of the location to the park, we were just stopping for 1 quick night and wanted to be conveniently close to Hot Springs National Park to maximize our time. Hotel was super clean and staff was very friendly. Our room was quiet, we were not bothered by any road noise or hallway noise. We were bummed that the rooftop was closed when we tried to go up around 7 on a Sunday night. I understand the bar closing early but it would have been nice to see the view. Also the bathroom door was a terrible as other reviews have said, dreadful design. Overall happy with our stay though, would definitely stay again! "
