"We really wanted to love the Sunset Motel, but it was just okay. Great concept, not fully executed. The bathroom was original - the toilet ran at odd times and the tub drain was old and crusty with no drain plug. It was very clean otherwise. Nice walk to downtown Brevard and everything it has to offer. Room 17 was closest to the road and traffic noise was pretty loud until midnight and started up again around 7 am. First, I called and spoke with Steve (owner) and advised that we would be late checking in. He advised that was not a problem as I would get an email with room number and code to access the room, ice house and pantry.
