Top Roden Hotel Reviews
Martini Hotel
8/10 Good
"We were offered a newly refurbished room for an extra 15 eu per night. The room was modest with no storage other than 6 hangers however it was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated and had coffee/ tea facilities. The staff were mostly pleasant and the breakfast was average. We went to try the restaurant but the head of the restaurant was extremely rude so much so that we had to leave from anger at his behaviour and go elsewhere. He later instructed the bar staff to close the bar when some German guests were becoming a bit loud instead of asking them to tone it down so once again we had to go elsewhere. I have stayed at the Martini many times and hope to return again in the future but this member of staff left us with an unpleasant memory on this occasion"
Leonardo Hotel Groningen Stadspark
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff is very friendly."
The Social Hub Groningen
8/10 Good
"Overall quite good, apart from shower design that tends to flood the bathroom. Very cool lobby with lots to do."
Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Langewold
8/10 Good
"We appreciated the very large room, good beds and quiet surroundings. Unfortunately, the restaurant was clearly understaffed, which led to long waits in spite of the 2 waiters doing their very best."
Van der Valk Hotel Groningen - Zuidbroek A7
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is absolutely amazing! Very good quality for price! Had dinner in the restaurant, staff were amazing and really friendly! The room was very well presented and the hotel was very well decorated throughout. Would definitely stay here again."
Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were amazing we stay here every year for a festival what a lovley and clean hotel very reasonable as well"
Van der Valk Hotel Drachten
10/10 Excellent
"I stumbled upon this place on Expedia while playing a high-stakes game of "where am I driving next in the Netherlands," and it turned out to be the ultimate win. Hands down the best hotel of my trip so far! The place was so clean I’m pretty sure you could eat your breakfast off the floor (though I used the table like a civilized human). The absolute highlight? Watching the Dutch squad take on Japan in the World Cup right there in the hotel, cheering alongside the locals. The room itself was immaculate and the bed was dangerously comfortable. A massive shoutout to the rockstar at the front desk—she was incredibly sweet when I arrived, and somehow just as impossibly chipper and helpful when I checked out the next morning. 10/10, would absolutely stay again!"
Van der Valk Hotel Groningen Westerbroek
8/10 Good
"Lovely clean room and fabulous bathroom with lots of towels (a larger bath towel would have been great). The bin in the bedroom was not emptied in the three nights we were there, the bathroom bin was emptied. Room 57 had a slight sewage smell when first entering the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. More signage in English would have been very much appreciated, I can understand a lot of German and speak French but sadly Dutch is not understood. Good parking facilities. "
