"This place is such a find. The rooms are large, light and beautifully renovated. The staff is wonderful, they went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The grounds are beautiful, and the breakfast is fantastic. There's also a nice pool, and a peacock walking around :)"
"My wife and I stayed overnight whilst travelling South. What a fantastic location exceeded only by the welcome. The food (evening meal and breakfast) was something really special. If looking for somewhere special in the Dourdogne look no further. Cannot recommend highly enough. "
"A charming home with a wonderful host. It has all the modern touches that make your stay memorable. We loved looking through their beautiful book that showed all the changes they made along the way. You really wouldn't want to miss this B & B-very special as was our host."
"Such a wonderful stay! So personal, clean, beautifully decorated! The property is so peacedul. Our host and hostess were wonderful and served up the best breakfasts we have ever had the pleasure to enjoy!!! "
"A 5-star experience in a nice remote chateau.
Great srroundings, amazing room and building interiors, terrific service, and a very nice private atmosphere."
"Very clean (excellent), well located house with plenty of space for families or friends. Pleasant view on a small vineyard Convenient with large area to prepare, and store, food.
Good communication too made our two night stay very relaxing."
"Great small hotel with everything you need! Itâs in the center of town with a good breakfast included and an extremely helpful staff to make your stay excellent. Definitely would stay there again!"
"Lovely hotel, but was disappointed that the suit I booked had a very old very uncomfortable sofa bed, with the worst mattress and they had put an old brown wool blanket on it. Also the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. "
"Second time we have stayed here and still excellent. Great place to stay and base for wine testing and tours. Parking is great and staff very attentive. "

"Very nice indeed. Staff wonderful. Very relaxing food excellent
Room comfortable but lack of places to put things. Form over function. Basin could not hold water! No mirror in dressing table area so hairdryer not close to socket. All easily solved. It seemed designed beautifully by someone who had never slept in the room. But. Did not detract. A lovely hotel"
"The place and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful, quiet and picturesque as a fairy tale. The quality of the meals offered is very high, and the hostess is kind, friendly and accommodating. A wonderful place to visit if you love silence. "
"Fantastic stay! Beautifully renovated chateau, perfectly located just a 20 minute drive from the superb St Emillion area. Very nice breakfast and we also really enjoyed the bistro in the evenings. Lovely relaxed staff, friendly and helpful. Great swimming pool. We really liked the robes to go to the pool in and the Rituals toiletries were a lovely luxurious treat! Highly recommended! "
"A Truly Unforgettable Hidden Gem in Bordeaux.
10 stars out of 5.
First and most important â the place was renovated few years ago. EVERYTHING is brand new. Rooms are specious, bathrooms are huge, and have everything you need. Rooms have AC.
Property has pool, pool house, gym, tennis court, BBQ place AND gardens, endless gardens, with fruit trees, thousand-year-old olive trees, pines, oaks and etc.
You can walk gardens, enjoy weather, sunrise or sunset, it is so relaxing. It is absolutely OK to walk vineyard and enjoy growth of grapes which will soon become a most delicious wine.
Notes to the travelers:
- Rental car is a MUST. This is remote area, and you will need a car. Once you have a car, you can drive to Bordeaux, 30 min, Saint Emilion â 30 min, Arcachon â 1 hour (to see largest dune in Europe) and other places, and then return to paradise. Driving is super easy in that region.
- French, English, Russian, Chinese are spoken on the property â which makes it super convenient.

"Came for a wedding in Bordeaux and this place was absolutely stunning and well worth the 10 rating - I would have given more than 10!!Jean was a friendly and attentive host but never bothered us in any way - he was the perfect host and we were so grateful to him. He even got up very early on our departure day to ensure we got off smoothly. Such a kind man. He even welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and some of his own (from the bees of course!) honey - and without exaggeration was the best honey I have ever tasted in my 74 years. I so wished they sold it in Wales. The house and pool were outstanding and we enjoyed every single minute of our stay. Sadly, a week was not long enough. Car parking was safe and very close to the house. The area around the house was stunning and a Carrefour Express was a couple of minutes away and bigger ones were in Creon 10 minutes away.We took away so many happy memories.Jean thank you so much!!!"
