"Right next to the world class mall, shopping and dining are within walking distance. Also in walking distance is Beverly Hills. The Fairmont gold experience was excellent as they serve drinks and food all day with friendly and professional staffers. "

"For the price, the quality should be much, much higher at this hotel. We had problems from the minute we arrived in our bungalow. The shower was stuck on one lukewarm temperature and couldn't be adjusted. No minibar, but there was a refrigerator to keep our water and other drinks cold. However, it was broken too. "Loved: - beautiful art-deco building retrofit into hotel, especially the lobby and elevator - minimalist room design - great view of downtown skyscrapers from room - rooftop pool, view - walkable to convention center Not a fan: - bed very low, hard, like a futon - rooftop restaurant food quality poor - ground floor restaurant never open - area near hotel very heavy with homeless people (less panhandling, more crazy and yelling)"
