"We had a lovely stay in Daisy. She was spacious and cosy and the hot tub is definitely a bonus. It was lovely and peaceful sitting on the veranda and having a morning coffee or evening wine. We didn’t try the local pub but there is one within walking distance. Really easy to get to (just 15 mins or so off the M5) and a great location for exploring South Devon. In our two days we visited Exmouth, Dartmouth and the beach at Blackpool Sands. The city of Exeter is just 10 mins away, so Daisy is also...

"Lovely location. Only 4 and half miles from Bideford town. Peaceful and just what we needed. Beds very comfortable - best nights sleep I have had in a long time. Woodland walk enjoyable. Hot Tub. Was lovely sitting on the wooden porch listening to the birds - had a few birds visit us daily, especially the robin. Love the folder with all the details about the lodge, local places to visit etc. Even a note on best road to take out from site due to narrow roads and which one has more passing...

"This is a really lovely property in a great location. It’s tucked away enough that it’s great for a romantic getaway, and close enough that you can venture down to Lynton & Lynmouth for an explore. We had some trouble booking on a different website (booking . com) but the hosts were so quick to respond and so friendly that we were completely sold on booking the property. The inside is clean, and very thoughtfully done up, and the hosts had left some lovely touches for us. We ended up visiting...

"Lovely lodge with view of lake. Able to sit and watch the birds from the veranda which was relaxing. Just the dining chairs and sofa could do with updating. Unfortunately the worktop had a burn mark that apparently only recently happened but will need addressing. Overall surroundings and placement of lodge great."
