From July 12, 2021 CasaGrande WHEN IT IS POSSIBLE leaves one day free between bookings, thus offering its guests 3 great advantages:
1 - Early check-in, from 9 am: the best thing after a long overnight flight (US travellers)
2 - Possibility to leave your luggage even after check-out
3 - Right sanitation of all rooms, given the time available

Please read also the last part of the description, about air conditioning without air conditioning. CasaGrande is a large and spacious apartment of 180 square meters, on two levels, on the main floor of an ancient Baroque palace in the heart of Rome. CasaGrande has large living rooms and lounges, in rooms with wooden coffered ceilings more than six meters high.
Original paintings and lithographs by renowned contemporary artists decorate the walls, as do large wall tapestries, souvenirs of the owners' travels to the Middle East.
There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The bathrooms are simple and basic, but complete with everything. A shower stall is 70x70 cm. It is possible to accommodate normally up to 8 people, 10 with extrabed.
CasaGrande is the right place to stay in Rome for short or long periods, ideal for business stays, even for groups of people. CasaGrande is aimed at those who want to visit Rome without losing time in long journeys. You will be exactly in its center.
CasaGrande is equipped with central heating. There is no air conditioning, but the particular building structure of the palace, typical of the '600 and based on thick walls around the perimeter and inside (some even more than a meter wide) ensures a comfortable temperature in all seasons and keeps the house cool in summer and warm in winter without the use of air conditioning systems. Large ceiling fans cool the air in common areas, smaller ones in bedrooms.

Phenomenal location

This property was centrally located, walkable to majority of must-sees, many great restaurants nearby and the host provided a great in-depth orientation. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers and the space work great for us.

Beautiful Gem of a property - at the center of almost everything important. So simple to navigate. Apartment was way more that we needed - but it just felt so nice to be able to come home and spread out.

Wonderful apartment close to everything

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment located just steps away from Piazza Navona. Communication with Roberto leading up to our stay was excellent. He was very helpful and kind - helping us with reservations, and ground transportation. Alessandra met us at the apartment and was delightful. The apartment was exactly as described and a perfect starting point for our family to explore Rome on foot. We would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment

This 4 bedroom apartment was perfect for our party of 6 (two couples and two singles). It is in a central location so we were able to walk to many tourist interesting locations. The manager was very helpful and accomodating. We had an issue with the heating, but Im sure that was a temporary fluke. Communication was good. Helpful to have the whatsup app.

Modernity meets 17th Century

We were a family of five so this apartment was more than generous. The big dining room was our go to room to meet and discuss. And having a fully equipped kitchen was a plus though we didn’t cook much. Some of the showers were challenging as the space was small and picking up something that dropped or turning around could put one at peril. Fabulous location with many restaurants and shops nearby. Though a list of restaurants were provided, we found EST to be top notch.

That’s Amore

When you open your eyes to a villa surprise, that’s amore! When your host leaves you wine and pasta divine, that’s amore! Every little thing made us want to sing, Villa Bella! Dining down the street, walking off our feet, that was-a swell-a. I’d stay here all the time, location sublime, That’s amore! Loved the rooms, loved the art…Rome has stolen my heart….I’m in love. Great Apartment and Location

The family and I had a great stay at this spacious apartment in the heart of Rome. It had all of the space and amenities we needed for our stay. Even with the warm weather in Rome this apartment stayed cool and had plenty of fans if needed. The location made it extremely convenient to walk pretty much wherever we needed to go. Our hosts walked us through the apartment and provided a lot of material about the apartment and suggestions on places to go and eat. This was the perfect spot for us during our 1 week stay in Rome. We would definitely stay here again when we make it back to Rome. Our hosts were extremely responsive and even helped coordinate travel to and from the airport. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your great apartment.

Epic Family Vacation

We began our 10 day family vacation with a three night stay at this fabulous apartment in the heart of everything in Rome. Roberto was amazing from the start! He arranged transportation from the airport and again to the port for us to meet our cruise ship for the next leg of our journey. He even was able to provide a smaller apartment in the same building when our family trip grew by 3 a few months prior to arrival. Both homes were exactly as they were described and pictured on the site. He provided a full check in service with baggage help and orientation to both homes. Both homes were super clean, and had an amazing European feel which added to our experience. He assisted with recommendations for local site seeing and fabulous restaurants. Nothing, I mean nothing beats the location of the home. Stop looking and book now if you want to be able to walk out of your apartment and be in the heart of everything! Shout out to Roberto and his team for helping me pull off this wonderful experience for my family members ranging in age from 3years old to 80 years! I will be back!

Amazing place and location

This apartment is on a quiet street parallel to Piazza Navona! We walked to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and The Crypt from this location. There were many shops and restaurants around the area. Avoid the restaurants at the corner and look for the hole in the wall, little places to eat. We found some gems. Check out Lili's (I think that is what it was called). About a 10 min walk and well worth it. This apartment has an AMAZING kitchen. We went to the market to purchase some breakfast items. There is a little store just doors away that has drinks (water, beer, wine) and we visited there a few times. They don't have air conditioning (and we were in a heat wave!) but they provided us with many fans (13, in fact!) which helped a lot. We had plenty of room to spread out. Everyone had their own bathrooms (talk about a bonus!). The family was lovely to deal with for check in and out. They had a binder with many recommendations (and we used it!). It was very helpful. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. Enjoy!

Get ready ....to be welcomed as family!

Our stay at CasaGrande could not have been more wonderful, fabulous, incredible, amazing… the list of superlatives goes on and on. Truly, our living here was remarkable in every way. Not only is this a beautiful, spacious and accessible!! apartment, with all amenities, but the location is excellent and creates opportunity of go everywhere walking with new discoveries at every turn, but taxi and bus are just around the corner!! The kitchen is gourmet! Fully accessorized with every appliance, all prep tools, serve-ware, etc. AND comes complete with with olive oil, balsamic, herbs, spices, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, etc. Everything needed for a quick start with meal prep. Not to mention complimentary wines!! and biscuits, including soft drinks and beverages in the fridge, and ice cubes!! Management agents Alice and Nicolo` have set new standards in customer care! When talking with Alice, thanking her for all her personal attention to us and welcoming us… she said ‘It was the Italian Way’… but Alice and her Company have notched ‘The Italian Way’ up to the next level!! The apartment is located in a building dating from the 17th century. Originally the house of nobility, this apartment has indeed maintained the noble and grandiose theme. True to its name ‘CasaGrande’ is indeed a ‘Grand House’. In staying here, you will not be disappointed!! On a scale of 1 to 5, CasaGrande earns 100!! Thank you Alice & Nick & Roberto for everything!! Vi vogliamo bene!!

DO NOT BELIEVE THE EARLY CHECK IN -NIGHTMARE CHECKIN

I will give credit where credit is due. The place is nice and in a prime location. However, I booked the place in January of 2024 and asked the host if I needed to book an extra night to check in at 8AM since we were arriving early. I was traveling with my 5mo old and 2 year old so I really needed somewhere to arrived to, which I was happy to book the extra night. I was reassured that we would not need to do this, and they confirmed early check in, which I was surprised so I confirmed a few months later with the host reassuring me that it would all be fine. I even asked again the Saturday before I left which was a Monday. ONE HOUR before landing the host messages me that there are people staying there and that we would not be able to check in until 2PM. I explained that i was told for 9 months multiple times that my early check in was confirmed and they said we got confused and sorry for the inconvenience. Karina, the woman checking us in, met us at the apartment and let us stay in the dirty apartment that they also own. I had to lay towels down for my young children to sleep. It was a nightmare. Karina kept telling me I should have booked an extra night and that she was bothered that she had to come down to let us in that early. I explained to her that I would have but I was told multiple it was fine she just rolled her eyes at me. I felt so used like they just wanted to collect the payment then tell us that we could not check in. Terrible experience

It is hard to describe just how amazing this property is. The location simply couldn’t be better and the the home itself is exceptional, as was the support and kindness of the host family (property managers). While located in the heat of Rome, the home is a beautiful quiet sanctuary with all the amenities needed. We highly recommend this incredible property.

A visit to Rome before my daughters wedding in Tuscany

The place was perfect! We had nine people. My husband and myself, my son and his family, his in laws and my ex husband! We visited Rome before heading to Tuscany for my daughter’s wedding. The location was so central to everything! Very well equipped. I loved having the washer and dryer. Our host was so accommodating. Very responsive. If I’m ever back in Rome this is where I will stay!

Lovely apartment - great location!

Extended family of 8 stayed in this very nice apartment right by Piazza Navona in Rome this past month. We were there five nights and, while we were a little "packed in" with 8 adults, we had adequate space and enough beds for everyone. The apartment is very cute - as shown in the pictures - and beds generally comfortable. The check-in was easy and communication with owners was very good - very responsive. The main issue we had was getting warm water for showers - it was very hit and miss. So you couldn't count on being able to get a warm shower in the am or at night, which was a challenge with eight people. The owner did say the boilers are new and they did come and check it while we were out - and at that point, evidently found warm water. Not sure if it was a time of day issue or what. But it was a challenge and the water was so cold that bathing was not optional if the warm water wasn't there when you went to take a shower. We also weren't able to keep the A/C unit going in the room - it would turn on and then turn right off. We were there in Oct. so resorted to opening the windows and just dealing with the street noise to get it cooler in the bedrooms at night as it was unseasonably warm when we were there. But other than those two issues, we had a great stay and loved out time in Rome. The location of this apartment just can't be beat-very walkable to so many of the sites we wanted to see-and the apartment really is a nice space for a family trip. Recommend!

Great Location

Roberto was very attentive prior to our stay. Upon arriving Alice greeted us & checking in was good. She was not as attentive as Roberto during our stay. Here are a few things to note about this property. These may or may not affect you but just sharing so you have a heads up. Hopefully they are helpful tips. -The front door to the property is very narrow. You can open it wider with a special key but be careful to do it properly or you could break it. -You have hold the button down for the dishwasher to start. Sadly it did not really work well anyway & did not wash the dishes well. -Coffee pot took forever to make the coffee. -The first bedroom as you go in the property to the left, the shower temp faucet are opposite. So the hot is actually cold & the cold is actually hot. Not a big deal, just a heads up. -Also in that specific shower, there is not really a lip on the floor & the water gets all over the bathroom floor. You will need towels to soak it up. Be careful not to slip and fall, my Aunt almost did. -The second bathroom downstairs as you walk back into the property that is not attached to a room has that “rotten egg smell” to it. Not sure why, not a big deal if you don’t care about that. -We had to let the water run awhile in all showers to get hot water. Would have been nice to know ahead of time as we all took cold showers the first morning. -It is a great location but keep in mind it gets noisy. -There is no Kleenex, again not a big deal but just a heads up.
