I like the fact that the location was great closed to. Everything walking distance the only thing that was a problem is that the picture chowing the entrance but is another door in the butom of the stairs and it was closed so we couldn’t find the place and the names of the place is written in small print next to the ring buzzer that was a little issue I’m just whanted to let you know otherwise love the place thank you

The bed and breakfast was in excellent location. I love it that its just walking distance from the Vatican and some major main attractions. The host Rafael was very accommodating. He let us check in early and he made sure that our room was up to standard. He also made sure that our room was clean on a daily basis. He also changed our towels everyday. Breakfast was from 7am-10am but Rafael made sure that the breakfast was ready earlier than 7am. He also made sure that our coffee was freshly brewed and hot. The only cons we saw was we couldnt find any English channel but overall we enjoyed our stay and we love the warm friendly service.

The place is a complex and it’s just opposite to Vatican . Manager Rafel took care of us and we could contact him for any issues . We got a wonderful feeling of staying in an European apartment. I would recommend anyone who would like to stay near Vatican and also not very far from Rome city center

Hospital host, value for money, great location
The host was extremely hospital that made our stay experience very pleasant. It is a 3 bedrooms B&B that you have your privacy and comfort in your own room and your private bathroom. It actually felt you stay at your uncle’s over a weekend. The location was great as it’s really close to Vatican and also near bus&subway stations. Also in 20-30 min walking distance of city center. The breakfast was also fine, like the thing that you can expect in your beloved uncle’s place. It was not a continental one but had all what you like for a complete and nutritious meal to start the day with. The entrance was a bit hard to find specially if you arrive late night, so make sure you communicate your arrival time to the owner so he makes himself available for help to find the entrance. I’ve attached the picture of the entrance door for those who are like me and need visual assistance ;) Thanks Rafael and dad for making our stay in Rome memorable :)

We received a pleasant, hospitable greeting when we arrived. Rafael spoke and understood some English, we were so thankful for that. His helper, no introduction, was unfriendly, unaccomodating. The personal safe was handy. I needed water for tea in the morning, it was there, I needed and asked for some in the evening-that must have been too much for them, it didn’t happen. The beds are very hard, temperature fine and manageable, plenty of towels. It needs a new shower head, also drains slowly, we had to stop shower in middle so it would not over flow. Our Continental Breakfast was breads, pastries, packaged jellies and cheese spreads. The dried cereals seemed old. I was hoping for boiled eggs and possibly a fresh fruit. Milk was curdled on the 3rd day. I actually like the place and location, I wish it had decent beds and better care.

Fantastic Location...close to Vatican City!! Alessandro III is a very quiet and comfortable place to stay while in Rome. With its close location to the Vatican, you can definitely get an early start to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica to avoid the endless lines later in the morning. I found the B & B to be clean and well maintained. My room was up-to-date with good wifi, clean modern ensuite bathroom, wardrobe, excellent functioning air conditioner, an in room safe with key, and a flat panel television set. I enjoyed my eight nights here. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The host offered valuable information about the city of Rome and sightseeing suggestions. On three separate occasions, “must see” Rome sightseeing attractions were shared. These suggested attractions were highlights of my trip to Rome. Thank you!!

Second time staying here. Good b&b, close to Vatican. Not loud unless you get crazy seagulls, but can't avoid those in Rome. If I'm in Rome again, would stay here again.

Not a hotel
Was difficult to find, no signs. No parking for cars, street parking only. Difficult to find a spot on the street. Must feed parking meter. This is a b&b, not a hotel. Bed uncomfortable.

Nice B&B in a good location
I chose this hotel because of the good reviews. I have to agree with the comments from prior guests. The room is clean and a good size. Location is excellent a few steps from Vatican City and other tourist attractions. I was treated with caring and kindness. Breakfast was good. Heat was good too. Room temperature and hot water. I was assisted during my stay making the experience for me and my boyfriend so pleasant and unique. I strongly recommend this hotel for you.

Pleasant stay
This B&B is located near the Vatican area -- a 5-10 minute walk -- with several restaurants and many shops selling Vatican-related tourist paraphernalia also nearby. It is a pleasant neighborhood. Check-in was simple, WiFi worked well, beds were comfortable, but breakfast very minimalist, though coffee was excellent. The majority of tourism sites require transport. There is a Hop-On/HopOff ticketing site and a stop about a 15-minute walk from the B&B.

Excellent location for the vatican
Small B&B very clean and comfortable on the first floor of a apartment block. The location for our trip was excellent one street away from St Peters and the Vatican. Several bars and restaurants in the area. Including 2 mini market selling everything, several souvenir shops. The shop near the Vatican are beautiful but expensive try the small one on the side street if you have time shop around you can often find things cheaper. The same with the restaurant check out the side street most have menus up and some will have a deals on. Rome can be expensive. Check out menus before you sit down and look at the prices. Some places can charge up to 7 to 8 euro for a cup of coffee ( which at the current exchange rate is £7.00 for a coffee) so be aware Lots of street sellers ( advice is not to buy from them) use the stalls or shops You will find lots of beggars who will invade your space even when you are eating ( it is up to you but do not make I contact and ignore them as we have been told Lots of walking to see the sights and it can become very crowded. Wednesday is the pope audience day so unless you are going to it avoid St Peters until after one pm. If you want to visit St Peters go early it opens at 7.00 am you have to go through security checks but you will avoid the long queues which can build up for 9.00 onwards A wonderful city, very busy and crowded at times . Full of history. Hope you enjoy your visit

Close to all the Major Sites of Rome
Very close to the Vatican and most of the major sites in Rome. We walked to all the sites. Some were 30 minutes or so away. The Vatican is only a 5 or 6 minute walk. The B&B is a little hard to find but just ask at a nearby restaurant and they will clarify the directions. The B&B is very safe and is a good value for the money.
