We enjoyed our stay at Assunta Domus! The location was perfect - very walkable to the more popular parts of town, but just out of the overwhelming congestion. It’s located in a political plaza, so there are military personnel stationed outside at all hours which made us feel very safe. There’s a lot of great food close by, and the host was very available and helpful. He provided great recommendations including food, groceries, and laundry services. If you need help setting up transportation needs, he can help with that too

This place is in a prime location, close to almost all the major attractions to see in Rome by walking. If you enjoy walking, the coliseum and Vatican are about a 40 min walk or a short uber ride. Uber works well in Rome by the way. For breakfast we enjoyed at Margherita! Pancakes are on the menu and coffee is great! Just a few blocks from the guesthouse, on the same side of the street. Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza di Popolo (which is where most tours meet), and the major shops and eateries all close by on foot! The room was smaller than what the photos show but the bed is comfortable. There’s a coffee machine that serves espresso shots only and a complimentary bottle of bubbly. Great customer service from the owner and room was cleaned every day. What I loved the most was prime location!

Great location and a very helpful staff member. It was close to everything. The lights in the bathroom is automatic so, it was a little hard when showering and the sensor doesn’t sense movement and we couldn’t figure out the smaller hand held shower. Overall we liked the place. The stairs were steep though so, be careful! Or stay downstairs. The bed was also comfortable.

A great hotel especially for the price. It was really nice to have an upstairs area where 2 of us stayed, and then my daughter stayed in sofa bed downstairs and had a bit of space. The hotel was in an upscale neighbourhood and walkable to every major attraction within 20/25 minutes. The hotel room had a mini fridge where they gave us water bottles which they replenished daily. The shower was really nice too- beautifully tiled and good water pressure.

Location, Location, Location. It close to everything.....clean and very safe...we had the military outside our door....guarding a diplomat The elevator is supper small but all Rome hotel's have small / weak elevators....and the stairs to the bedroom are a little narrow...but overall very good. A great three nights in Rome!

From the moment we booked Assunta Domus, Alessandro began to reach out to understand our arrival and our needs. Since we were arriving from Florence via car, he gave us directions to the Cavour Parking garage (a safe, impeccably clean garage underneath a nice green area in Rome within a ten minute walk of the hotel and out of the ZTL). Alessandro greeted us upon arrival and showed us the unit and gave several recommendations for restaurants. He took out a map and told us how far we were from all the key spots in Rome and couldn’t have been nicer to me or my family.

Perfect Location and Comfort

The location is perfect. We walked to all the sites. Spacious and clean. Great set up for a family of 5. Rome is so hot in the summer, we really enjoyed the extra space during our chill out time in the apartment. Bonus, the downstairs bathroom has a real shower. There are traffic enforcement guards always stationed right outside of the building, which was nice, made us feel extra safe. Staff booked our transfer to/from the airport and were very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Rome.

Would recommend

The unit was nice but not quite as nice as the pictures. We were surprised to find there was no dryer so you hang your clothes over racks that are provided. The problem with that was it took days for heavy clothing to dry. The area is great. Close enough to walk to see many attractions and lots of restaurants and shops close by. They will set up transportation to and from the airport which was a nice service. Overall a good experience.

Everything was excellent. We recommend highly. The building Has great security and we felt safe. It was in a good area with high end shops and delicious restaurants and cafes within a block. It was within less than 2 miles from all important sights. We walked everywhere. The owner was available during the day and helped us to arrange transportation by train to other cities, to the airport, from the cruise port, and gave recommendations to good restaurants. He was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious for our family of 5. It was cute and comfortable and had a full kitchen and laundry machine.

Alessandro was an incredible host at AD warm, welcoming, and so respectful. We truly enjoyed our stay in the suite. The location was perfect just a short walk to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, with tons of great places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. We felt very safe walking around, especially with a government building close by and Italian soldiers posted in the area. The space was clean, had great AC, and even included a fridge. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome
