Good Location
Location was good. Check in was all done by Whatsapp. Fridge didn't work and they were unable to provide a solution whilst we were staying there. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Garbage stench near building entry was disgusting.
We arrived at check in hours, but no one was there. There is no way to call the host.
I asked for help from some bar in the area who were able to help us to call him.
The guy (Shon) was very very unwelcome And didn’t help us and didn’t answer our questions.
The place really doesn’t look like in the picture.
Very very big disappointment.
Ok, so the good points, well located, host was accessible by text/phone very easily, room was clean and decent in terms of size. Neutral points were never meeting the host as this is really an Airbnb more than hotel, you have to have internet in Italy to access the building, apartment, room, confusing to begin with but then works well. Air conditioning worked well, was really hot when we were there. Quiet place. Not so great aspects, no change of sheets or towels or cleaning during our 4 day stay, if you have trouble with stairs then know you have a flight to get to the elevator, there is a chair for the first flight if you need though. We enjoyed the stay but were expecting more of a hotel than Airbnb type room with no kitchen.
Bait and switch / hear upstairs neighbors / harras
This wasn't one of worst stays in my life
Not only can you hear everything going on above you (non hotel apartments) I listened to two families fight starting at 6 am
I turned tv on at 10 pm to watch and got a stomp on the floor
But the hotel also tried to move me to a different room in a different location
Then harassed me via text for two days after
(142 text) Bc I complained to hotels.com
Had to have hotels.com stop them from texting me
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! GuestLovers Hotel does not exist. The name is Biscone B&B. When you arrive, there is a wall with numbers and you have to guess that GuestLovers is Biscone in order to even get a person to answer. When we went in, they said our room was "100 meters" away, and made us walk about 500 meters to the room. When the manager opened the door to a hallway leading up to the room there was sewage oozing out of a garbage can onto the walkway. Hallway reeked of dead rats. We told her the situation was unacceptable and denied the room. Then they charged us for 5 nights. Hotels.com needs to delete "GuestLovers", which doesn't exist in the4 first place, and delete Biscone B&B, which considers sewage covered entry ways to be acceptable accommodations.
NEVER STAY HERE. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. First of all, this is a Bed Breakfast and not a hotel, they don't have a reception or anyone to help during odd hours. We booked this hotel because it was so close to Campo di Fiori on Piazza Biscione, but it turned out that they put us on another property that it wasn't so close to the Piazza but we were tired and the room was okay so we decided to stay. The internet never worked and there was a sewer smell coming from the bathroom so we had to keep the door closed at night. On our 2nd night the toilette clogged and there was water coming out of the toilette and invading the room at 3AM in the morning, we called the number and they told us to wait until next morning. They only came at 9AM and we couldn't use the bathroom because there was still water coming out of the toilette and shower. We had an appointment at 11 AM at the Vatican and the owner REFUSED to give us another room, saying that he was calling the plumber to see if we were responsible for the clogging or not and only after that he would provide us a different room. NEVER STAY HERE.
Great location, but quite difficult to find hotel even in a small square as no street number given. We needed to phone for directions to both find and enter the building. Room and service met our expectations.
The girl Nadia did her best to help with issues we had during our stay, however- she was the only one available for us and she worked traditional hours and was not there for us all the time(past 5pm). Our bathroom had a leak which did not really bother me but want to mention it. Our big issue was the dis functioning WIFI, which being travelers from the states, we needed greatly when we found ourselves back at the room, we were without for atleast half our stay. Good thing I was traveling with my girlfriend because the shower was IN the room. There was 2 espresso pods provided for our 3 night stay. The only method of communication to the hotel tenant was via email (we had no wifi)
Our last email to Nadia was ignored when I asked to speak with a manager about our dis satisfaction and the rate we paid. We sacrificed quite a bit for location in hindsight. This 'b&b' of which did not provide breakfast, had a air bnb feel and I did not like it at all.
Room was essentially an apartment. Great location, authentic feel, and a modern well-appointed room. Staff was difficult to get in touch with.

Fantastisk beliggende lejlighed men intet hotel
Fin lejlighed beliggende ved Campo di Fiori. Der var ingen rengøring under vores fire nætters ophold. Der var ikke mineralvand som oplyst i bekræftelsen.
