Great hotel

We love the location. The breakfast was a plus for us to stay at this hotel. The staffs worked in the breakfast room were very friendly. We will definitely come back if we visit Rome again.

This hotel felt like home away from home! The rooms are clean and cozy, the staff and service is excellent, its a family business and everyone was very welcoming. Breakfast was good and they have an amazing garden / terrace for some quiet time amidst the hustle in Rome. Its walking distance from Termini station and close to key landmarks in the city.

The hotel is charming from the outside, conveniently located and in an area of cafes and transportation. The check in was quick and friendly as was the check out. My only critisism was my room was quite dreary and dark.

It did what it needed to do. Slightly sketchy neighborhood but can take the bus pretty much anywhere (the buses will never arrive on time). The mattress was poor but the man at the check in desk was very lovely.

Good location but...

I stayed in a room on ground floor, and I know exactly who checked in and out so if you're sensitive about the noise then this may not be a great place. Good location The room was clean and normal size. They're also functioning in an old style way which can potentially waste your time as well.

3/5 Stars, but clean & in a good central location

This hotel is clean and in a great location next to the train station with easy access to the metro and busses. It is about a half hour walking distance to the Trevi fountain, and there are many restaurants, cafes and the grocery store very close by. If you are looking for 'no frills' you have found it. The rooms are clean, but outdated; and could certainly use a refresh. They do have an elevator and AC. Rooms have a mini fridge and mine had a desk. The morning reception manager was fantastic, the afternoon and overnight gentlemen left much to be desired. There is also a terrazzo for guest use which is peaceful and quiet, despite being in the heart of Rome. Overall, I would give this place a 3/5 stars.

A place to rest your head

If you’re looking for a place to rest your head for a short stint then I recommend this hotel. I would give it a 3.5 rating not a 3. The staff was very nice and attentive. My bedroom was sufficient and my bathroom was updated. The room was small but it was just me. Unfortunately the AC didn’t work but it did fan the room and circulate the air. Fortunately it wasn’t extremely hot otherwise it would have been an issue. Other reviews comment on the doors not being flush but that didn’t bother me. I stayed on the 4th floor and it was pretty quiet. The water pressure in the shower could have been better. They do ask you to leave your key when you leave the hotel to go explore. This is so they can clean your room.

The hotel met my expectations, look it’s a budget oriented hotel, I think 3 stars is a bit of a stretch. The best feature was the proximity to the entire public transportation system (train, metro, bus), 4 minutes. The room was clean (daily housekeeping was excellent), had a comfortable bed, good ac and good water pressure in the shower. I did not like the bathroom (pics were vague) now I know why. The shower was open to the entire bathroom floor, it didn’t have a separate step in. Had to be careful when walking out to a wet floor. The establishment should begin a program to update the bathrooms. The bathrooms are looking tired. It would make a huge difference! The staff were superb, helpful and courteous. I read so many reviews where people hammer a place for so many petty reasons. You’re not going to get a five star hotel for this price point. Given everything, I’d return and would recommend if you’re on a tight budget.

A most attentive welcome at reception and very good service from housekeeping. The presentation of the hotel is ‘traditional’, but set back from the road within a shaded garden in a bustling area just a short walk from Termini is pleasant. There is a modest bar and the breakfast was just fine. The room was meticulously clean, with fresh linen and towels daily. For Rome prices in a jubilee year it was very good value for money.
