While the hotel may not be right in the centre we loved the location. Close to the metro so you could get anywhere quickly, it was super quiet and relaxing and the swimming pool, though small, was a real bonus. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Lots of restaurants a short walk away.

I had such an amazing experience at Mama Shelter! The rooms were clean and crisp. The breakfast was delicious! The rooftop bar is such a vibe! The staff was top tier! Extremely helpful. Loved how close it was to lots of restaurants, and to the Vatican! When in Rome, stay at Mamas!

Walking distance from Vatican City, and about a 5-min walk to the nearest train station (Cipro). Rooms were comfy and bathroom was clean. Plenty of food options for breakfast, which we appreciated. Amenities (pool, gym, sauna) were pretty clean— note that you need to make an appointment to use the amenities. We had an enjoyable stay :)

The food at the restaurant was amazing! And the Suppli, an italian street food, we had at the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious! Everything about this hotel was fabulous! We stayed at room 1418 on the 4th floor, checked in on 26.07.26 for 1 week We had the best time the hotel was spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, Breakfast was great lots of variety (coffee was very good 😉) Staff go above and beyond to help with anything, they even put a birthday cake in the room for my husbands birthday and a card wishing him a happy birthday 😀 such a lovely gesture. Overall we had the best time and would recommend this hotel we will definitely be trying the new mama shelter that is opening the end of the year at lake como. Thank you for a woulderful week xx

The staff was very nice , and took the time to help. The roof top restaurant was a hit, we enjoyed it very much. The thing that we have concerns are Firmer pillows for the installingceiling, fans, oh yeah, forgot to mention the poor area that was fantastic, would highly recommend people to stay.

I chose this hotel because it was one of very few accommodations in Rome with a pool, dry sauna and steam room at a reasonable price. I am so glad I found this hotel with Expedia's help! It is a true gem. The restaurant options on site are fabulous! All staff, from those working at the reception/reservation desk to those working in the restaurants, were very attentive and friendly. We are sure to stay at this hotel chain again if the opportunity arises in the future!
