Pros: Absolutely Beautiful home, everything I imagined a Italian villa to be. Cozy and Spacious Perfect for our group of 8. Well stocked kitchen, big comfortable bedrooms with good AC. Cool artwork around the house. Fantastic outdoor space was such a bonus. Upon arrival host greeted us with drinks and goodies to nibble on as we got settled in. Nice touchCons: Not disclosed in the listing details that the homeowners live in the basement apartment attached to the villa with an access door into the villa. There was construction going on in the attached villa so for several days of our stay we had to hear tile saws running. The second day of our stay the lady owner informed us we needed to water the plants in the sunroom and on the balconies daily or be ok with her coming in the house everyday to water them. Halfway through our visit, she informed us a cleaner would be coming to tidy up the bathrooms and bedrooms. We kindly declined the service bc we didn't want the distraction and wanted to enjoy our time with the family. she wasn't happy. Spent 2 hrs texting her arguing about it and had to end up calling VRBO to make a complaint. After that she didn't bother us for the rest of the trip. Her being onsite made you feel like you were under a microscope and was hard to relax. The husband was very cool and polite and made us feel welcomed. The furniture although beautiful was worldly, delicate and some wobbly. We were afraid something was going to break.
