Very spacious apartment. 3 huge bedrooms 2 additional double rooms. Spotlessly clean - hotel standard. Every room has tea making, fridge with free bottled water, TV. Will be back 100%.
Family trip for 7 of us. Enough space for everyone to have their own space. Could not hear what was going on in other rooms. Everyone in the family enjoyed the stay. Would/will book again, next time we are in Rome!
The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Kitchen tiny for a 5 bedroom facility but that may be normal for Rome. Not enough seating for 9 people in 5 bedrooms, but we made it work. Neighborhood seemed a bit iffy but we didn’t have any issues.
Terrific hosts, nice property and convenient location. Home comfortably accommodated 5 couples. Kitchen and living areas allowed the family to relax and enjoy time together after busy days of sight-seeing. The balcony was an added bonus - a most relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee. Hosts are very conscientious and kind. Genuinely cared about us having a good stay...and we sure did!
Such a great apartment! We walked all over the city - Colosseum, Pantheon, and many other must-see locations. The nearby park is beautiful, and there is a restaurant a few blocks away that is a must-try (Trattoria Vecchia Roma). Only knock would be some homeless people and graffiti in the surrounding area. But we never felt unsafe, the host was so helpful and gracious, and we would absolutely stay again.
We were so pleased with this rental. Everything was clean, owner was supper nice and provided additional items for our large party of 10 at her place. Would recommend it highly and when we get back to Rome, we will stay there again. 👍👍👍
This was our first night in Italy and it was very convenient to the train station and metro. The rooms were nice and big and had American approved air conditioning. It was very hot and this was the only place we stayed where we felt adequately cooled. Clean and the owner was easy to contact. I would stay there again.
There were six of us and we all enjoyed our stay, it was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The only negative comment we had was it was near the trolly and what we thought was thunder was actually the Metro running near the building.
The house was absolutely beautiful . There was 8 of us and we each had our room and ensuite . It was very clean and our hostess was the best . She was there waiting for us with a smile . I would certainly go back there again and refer all my friends .
We were so pleased with this home. The house was super clean, everything is new, and fully equipped. The rooms are super spacious. Chantal is a super host. The apartment is close to the train station , across the street from a park and many great restaurants. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything!
We just checked out after a fantastic week spent in Rome at the Kings Home. Chantal's communication is impeccable and she was very kind and flexible with our flight delays. I was the spokesperson for our group of 10 ranging from 3 years old - 75 years old and she answered all of the questions I presented to her prior to our travel. We each felt like we have our own little Bungalow each evening after spending the day with our families. The home is absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. The location is great, especially with the park across the street, coffee and gelato all within steps. We hope to make it back to Rome.
This property is luxurious and amazing. The rooms and accommodations are top-notch. The host was very nice and extremely responsive. I highly recommend it! My only caution is that you realize that it is in a neighborhood close to the train station and there are homeless people around. I never felt unsafe but you should be aware.
The house was beautifully decorated and clean. The host communicated with us quickly both before and after the stay. They personally greeted us for check-in and went through everything about the house and answered any questions. The rooms were all large and well appointed. Metro stop is very close and we also walked to many sites, but use maps to check the distances. Being near Termini Station does mean there is more graffiti and more homeless people around than in the more well-known tourist areas. We never felt unsafe and would stay again with a large party.
The host was amazing and very communicative. This home is beautiful and spacious and even has a cute little balcony. I think our only issue was that from the outside it isn’t appealing due to the graffiti and homeless sleeping nearby. However, the neighborhood did feel really safe and there was a lovely park right across the street. It was also very easy to walk to restaurants. We even walked to the coliseum and the pantheon from here! This place provided plenty of room for our family of ten!
Spacious and well appointed gem near Termini and walkable to Colliseum.
Kings Apartment is a hidden gem just steps from the Metro and easily walkable to the Termini train station. Extremely convenient for getting around Roma and taking daytrips via regional/high speed trains. The apartment is well appointed and has huge bedrooms, though a bit small on communal space. There are certainly nicer overall neighborhoods in Rome, but you would be hard-pressed to find another rental that combines the convenience of transportation accessibility with the such large and well-furnished sleeping accomodations. The bathrooms were very modern and large for Italy-standards.
Great way to end our stay in Italy. The 5 bedrooms were huge (we only used 3) and the bathrooms were nice. The living room wasn’t big enough to comfortably fit all 6 of us but we were always on the go so it didn’t matter that much. The host was very responsive. We felt very safe and secure at this location too. It was near the train and bus station which could be a bit noisy at times. Overall we loved it and would stay here again!!
We were a family of 7 and had a very comfortable stay at the apartment. Everything was immaculate and nicely decorated. Chantal greeted us and explained everything to us in detail. Each room had a refrigerator stocked with waters, teapots and tea bags were provided. There were extra towels in each bathroom also. We were very impressed with Chantal’s attention to detail and her efforts to make her guest’s comfortable. You will not be disappointed with this apartment!
Absolutely loved this place! Each room was stunningly gorgeous with it's own fridge containing ample supply of waters. The rooms were dark which lead to deep sleep. The kitchen was stocked with a espresso machine with endless pods, which was a wonderful surprise! The unit was stocked with many little extra things that came in handy for use during our stay such as power adapters, scissors, pens, etc. The location was walking distance to most everything including the train station and overlooked a beautiful park. I felt very safe and comfortable in these luxury accommodations.
We are a family of 10. We came to Rome to start a 2 week vacation in Italy. This home was perfect for us with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It was very clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. Wu was an incredible host and very kind. Refrigerators in each room had water. We had one small issue with the bathroom door and she immediately responded and came to the home. Location is perfect for the metro and train. It was very easy to walk to shops and restaurants. If you’ve never been to the Roma Termini station take time to go. There are many very nice stores. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for location was because of the many homeless people at night who slept at the doorstep. They were kind and moved immediately when they saw us but it was unsettling for the younger girls in our group coming and going. Do not be swayed by the graffiti - think of it as wall art! The interior is spectacular. Wu is so amazing she provided extra hair dryers once I told her we have 5 daughters!! I highly recommend a stay at Kings Home in Rome! You will not be disappointed.
The pictures do not do this home justice… It is truly beautiful in person! Every room was beautifully appointed, including the bathrooms. The air conditioning was an amazing bonus!! Especially with the high 90° temperatures we experienced while on vacation (I have had many friends visit Rome, and say, even though their VRBO list air conditioning, it is not reliable. That was definitely not the case here!) When we originally arrived, we were nervous that the home was not in the best area of town. However, the door was plenty secure to the apartment building as well as to the home. We never felt uncomfortable while staying. The bonus was it was a one minute walk to the train station.
The communication with the homeowner was impeccable! She was prompt with every response and even helpful with helping us navigate the city with recommendations. Our flight arrived around noon, and she was super accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage and expediting the cleaning of the house so that we could have access to it sooner than the advertise time. It was so amazing visiting a foreign country and having a host be so kind, if we ever come back to Rome, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else
