Fabulous Hotel with great rooms, awesome buffet breakfast, friendly helpful staff, centrally located near sites & the metro line. I would stay there anytime I was in Rome. Lots of great restaurants nearby of all types.

Great location near subway and Rome attractions. Beautiful hotel and unique room with steps up to bed. Looked like a beautiful gilded tiny apartment. Staff helpful to get taxi and help with directions. I was only there less than 24 hours so did not get to use amenities but the hotel was a beautiful short stay in Rome!

I’ve stayed here in the past and it was nice to have the complimentary happy hour. They no longer offer it which is unfortunate. We were assigned a two floor room which they were happy to switch for us. Air conditioning was excellent in the room. The room was smaller than we were first assigned but it had great ac.

We had a lovely one night stay at River Palace before a cruise. Very welcoming as soon as we walked into the door. The public areas as well as our room were beautifully decorated. Location was great with restaurants, shops and a train station close by. The staff was very professional and helpful. I will mention the stairs. We had a flight up from our living area to the bedroom. A bit slippery. But that wouldn't deter us from returning. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was located in a safe area close to the city centre and metro stop. The rooms clean and serviced every day, whilst some reviews say rooms are small the deluxe room had plenty space for our needs. The slight negative was the breakfast is limited to the same every day and there is no half board option. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Our stay in Roma was fantastic from touchdown at FCO to our outbound flight. We were early for check in at The River Palace, 8 am, but our room was ready so we were able to enjoy more of our first day. The staff was very helpful. They gave us directions many areas of Roma. The breakfast buffet is a great way to start your day, highly recommend it. The River Palace is a 4 star hotel, but should be 5.

Very nice property but had couple issues. Twice water pressure dropped to zero while I was taking shower. Also room was very small where I had to put second luggage on bed to unpack/pack. Last, it was busy while we waited to check in. Bell hop guy told us to go ahead and sit in lounge area and they would come get us when they’re ready for us, even though we were next to be served on to check in. Two other couples got waited on that came in way after we did. Other than that, staff was good, food was excellent, and hotel was in great location
