About this property
SANTA CECILIA APARTMENT
Between Piazza di Spagna, the Vatican and the Pantheon. All the charm of the Renaissance and the charm of ancient Rome. In a beautiful historic building protected by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
The apartment is located inside an elegant building of architectural importance, protected by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, on the 2nd floor with elevator. Overlooking you will have the pleasure of admiring the whole pedestrian area of Via del Corso, the most central street of Rome, up to the obelisk of Piazza del Popolo.
The apartment consists of an entrance hall, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, second double bedroom with adjoining bathroom, large living room with sofas and double sofa bed and a small equipped kitchen. The house combines the comforts of a modern home (air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, microwave) with the charm of a period house (original frescoes of the early '900 in the living room, high ceilings decorated, furniture good antiques, parquet).
If you arrive by train at Termini Station, thanks to Line A of the Metro, you will arrive at the nearby stop "Piazza di Spagna". Few pleasant steps in the most picturesque streets and you will be at home. If you arrive by plane at the Leonardo da Vinci airport of Fiumicino you can easily reach the Termini station with the Leonardo Express Line. If you arrive at Ciampino airport you can reach the Termini station directly with the bus that has the terminus in the same square of the airport. Those arriving by car can use the Ludovisi car park, near Piazza di Spagna.

This apartment is in a perfect location. Close to amenities, walking distance to historical sites and restaurants.
Full of character and comfortably decorated.
The host was very helpful.
This charming apartment on via del Corso was the perfect home base for our Roman holiday. Though compact, it was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had all the usual amenities. The location was unbeatable - right in the middle of a vibrant shopping district steps from Piazza del Popolo and close to great restaurants and gelato shops. The support staff were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore Rome!
Open the door and here you are in the middle of Via del Corso... Gelato stand to the right and Café to the left to start and end each day... Can't stress enough how great the location was. Taxi stand 50 yards away if needed and grocery store 100 yards away if needed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.. Lodging was very comfortable and relaxing. Looking forward to staying here again!
Location of property is second to none. All the main attractions within walking distance, and great selection of restaurants only a few minutes away. If you are after a bit of retail therapy then you won’t be disappointed as the property is located on the main shopping street, yet set far enough back that you wouldn’t know. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were ideal for us, as was the separate living room. The kitchen is small and basic but we only needed the fridge so wasn’t a problem. Overall the property is fabulous for a city centre location, a bit of dusting under the bed would have given the cleanliness a five star rating!

Great host and location. Terrible apartment
Location is amazing!!!! 10 stars! The host is grate and helpful. Condition of the apartment is terrible. There are holes in the ceiling, feels very unclean, everything is in need of a good wash, fresh coat of paint and updated furniture. Everything looks like it was done back in the 80’s. No utensils, dishes, plates. If you can forgo all of it location is amazing
Location was wonderful. Bedrooms were cramped and very small with little room to move around the beds making it difficult to dress. Could not open closet doors fully as they hit the bed. Kitchen was also very small with few supplies. There was mold on the ceilings in the bathrooms. Showers were so small you had difficulty bending down to pick things up which was necessary as there were no soap or shampoo holders. Picture make it seem like a luxurious apartment, this is not the case. Would not reccomend.

Our family stayed here for 3 nights and it was a perfect layout for our needs. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed, lots of sleeping space and the location was absolutely fabulous! Would definitely book again and would recommend to others!
The host was exceptional. Arranged transportation both from and to the airport. Location was also exceptional. We walked to the colosseum (27 min) and Vatican city(30 minutes). All sites were within walking distance, the place is unique in a great part of old Rome. Great vibes close to shopping and a small market. The condo is a bit dated. We found the beds hard and the couches could use a bit of an update. The were super uncomfortable. Everything else was great. We would recommend for sure.
Great location. Hundreds of people streaming down via del Corso in the evening and looking out the window. On Saturday, there were numerous marching bands playing instruments and groups doing orchestrated dances. It was lovely. My only complaint was someone in the building olaying disco music till late. Earplugs were essential

Exceeded my expectation
Very comfortable, perfect location. Apartment was larger than expected, beds were extremely comfortable, cant think of a single thing that we needed that was not provided. Miss Lavinia was very nice and generous with her time in helping to get us settled and answering our many questions. Excellent value.
The apartment is tired but functional. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are good. Not accessible if you have stair issues as the entrance is half way between floors from the elevator. It is on a very busy and loud main street. Crazy loud during the day. Mostly quiet at night but one of our nights there was a party in the bar in the adjacent hotel and it was really loud club music for a long time. If you are there to shop or for a very short stay I would recommend. Otherwise I would suggest a quieter neighbourhood or a side street. The check in was simple and seamless. The building and surrounding streets seemed quite safe.

Fantastic Location!
This apartment is in the best location to walk to everything you will want to see in Rome. And even though it is in the middle of the busy shopping street, it does get very quiet at night. There is a lovely shop for breakfast and lunch just downstairs. They don't open until 10 though so we would buy our pastries for breakfast the day before. Lavinia met us at the door and gave us a tour of the apartment, a quick run down of the area and the keys. She was available when we needed her but we didn't. We had no problems with the apartment. It was spacious and well equipped. I recommend this apartment 100%.

We chose this property because of its excellent position and because it had two bathrooms and an elevator.
Communication, welcome etc were outstanding, and the apartment should have been perfect for us.
The bathrooms are extremely small and very difficult to use but, even that would have been OK if the apartment had been safe - electrically - but it is not.
Appliances 'short' when used. The iron has loose wires exposed in the cord.
Using the kettle caused an alarm to go off. This made us too afraid to use these things so we did not use the kitchen nor appliances. The apartment needs an urgent electrical overhaul.
The answer to maybe the most important question is: would I stay there again? Without hesitation YES. The owner arranged transportation both from the airport to the apartment and also from the apartment to the airport. When on the next to our last day we inadvertently locked ourselves out with no money, Giulia was there within a very reasonable time to rescue us! It was only my granddaughter and me so we did not use the pullouts and I can’t comment on them. We did use the washer, small by US standards, but no other kitchen appliances. On either side of the outside door is a coffee shop and gelato store. We actually found another coffee shop off the tourist route and went there each morning. The location is phenomenal. Watching the flow of people on via del Corso from the large double window was in itself entertaining. I’m not one to nitpick. Excellent people to work with.
The location was perfect! We appreciated the host setting up transportation to the airport and all the suggestions for local eateries! Highly recommend this host and property if you are staying in Rome, Italy!!
Great location. Great host. Nice apartment with lots of room. Property owner needs to do a few things, like a fresh coat of paint throughout, fix, lubricate or replace the entry lock, it can be extremely difficult to open. Install hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels .

interesting request
Roberto the property manager was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. The pictures on the site could be very misleading. The apartment needs some updating. Furniture is quite old. Kitchen is old and needs an update and some repairs. The living room sofas are old and broken. The showers are extremely small, so small in fact that an oversized person might not be able to fit inside. Location is fantastic, close to all the major attractions.
Great apartment with everything we needed. It was within walking distance to all of the monument, historical sights and museums. Roberto was fantastic to communicate with. We would definitely stay here agian.
Thank you Roberto!
