Best place to stay at Rome

Exelent place to stay if you visiting the historic Rome, wonderful restaurants around and everything is walking distance. Highly recommend it.

The pool was great! The outdoor kitchen and bbq were unusable - not kept up. A lot of noise at night from the family that lives above - made sleeping difficult. The landlady was very helpful with suggestions and directions! The walk up the hill to get to the property was a challenge at the end of a long day!

Pros: Good location! Staff are friendly. Cons: Pictures for each room type are from multiple units and the units could be drastically different. We were given an unit very different from pictures. Obviously it was not renovated and wasn't properly maintained. 1.This unit is a room with a loft with only one bathroom on the loft. 2. Room has poor lighting. 3. There is no shower but an old tub in the bathroom. There is a shower head but you have to use it in the tub. Worse is there is no hot water out of shower head. 4. Cleanness is an issue with this room. We saw stains on bathtub, pillows, bedsheets, towels, etc. 5. Kitchen is poorly equipped. No microwave oven or even a kettle. Appliances are old and some are not working (eg only one of the 4 cooktops works). 6.Very poor wi-fi speed. Luckily Andrea/Malliga put us in another room which is a lot cleaner than the first one. Bathroom was remodeled and has shower, new sink, etc. Again, there are small things that can be done. The kettle is really old. You can't use the electric cooktop due to not enough outlet on the wall (how about adding an extension cord?). Wifi is a big issue as all units share same wifi. If you want to book this property I suggest you contact Andrea to find out which unit you are getting and what are available. Again, we truly appreciate Andrea/Malliga's hospitality and we hope they will convey our feedback to the owner. This property is in a perfect location and could be turned into a nice vacation rental

Katastrofalt dåligt. Personalen var inte där när vi kom och vi blev ståendes på gatan utan att bli insläppt mitt i Rom kl.19.00. Jag har aldrig varit så arg i hela mitt liv!
