Avoid this place!!! My wife her body had wounds day after. After checking the reviews about bedbugs, it was most probably that! Unbelievable that places like this are allowed to run! After hearing of no compensation from this place and Expedia, we will contact the city of Rome and the ministry of tourism to shut this place from the reason of public health, be sure about that!

The building itself is beautiful. The elevator is old and dirty. Only one air conditioner worked out of 5. My family was very uncomfortable and hot. The bathroom was clean. Our Tv did not work. We don't recommend this place. It needs better signage because it was difficult to find.

This is not a Hotel, is a floor in a building that rents room. I was send to another guess house 5 minutes away. The bathroom was not in the room. The main door lock was damaged it took about an hour to be fixed. There was only one outlet to far from the bed and no chair to sit. Main shower head would not work and the shower cristal door was dangerous faulty.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! We chose this place over many others beacuse we would be arriving after midnight and online they said 24 hour lobby. After telling management the time of our arrival they told us "our lobby is not open overnight but we will send you self check in instructions" Confused, we accepted it and waited for insturctions on how to check in. They sent us an electronic key to open the building that did not work. So my family was left stranded on the streets 2 am with nowhere to sleep. We called them multiple times to help us and got no answer. We had to go to 4 different hotels before we found a place to sleep. The next morning we texted them that we would be checking in after a tour we had already booked at 11 am. They said "no problem we open at 1 pm anyways" During our tour we recieved a text from the host saying our room is no longer available and lost the reservation. Frustrated we left our tour early to figure out what was going on since we booked this place for 3 nights. Once we got to the hotel and tried to check in, this disgustingly rude host got into verbal argument with us on how it was our fault we lost the reservation, how they never claimed to be open 24 hours, how we should have came earlier in the morning before 1 pm to check in. He even lied to us saying the hotel was completely booked and they had no space for us. His employees, who also seemed fed up with him, told him to stop arguing and that they would accommodate us. So they did have room for us

Great location of the area, needs a few fixes.

We had a couple of bad experiences on this day, but really liked the location and general room standard. A couple of easy fixes would be bulbs that didn’t work and clean mold in shower. However, the most stressful thing was arriving at 7:30 to find reception close and just a note telling you where you were and a big set of keys to access. A map would’ve been useful to indicate that we are in a different building in the different street to where we thought we’d booked. I’m checking out the receptionist was very helpful by email and I managed to pay the tax by leaving it along with emailing passport details. We had to do this as we were busy meeting friends on the other side of Rome and we’re leaving very early in the morning Location of our room was excellent, and I had accommodated my disability by putting me on the first floor, and there was a working lift. Just a few easy fixes to make this a great stay and it’s very close to the Vatican. Air-conditioner was very loud, and at one stage, spat out lumps of ice! All made for an interesting day. Have advised the hotel to leave a map, if they’re moving you without anybody present, and also a traffic light system on the bunch of keys to let you know which one you use first, second and third in the dark.

DONT BOOK THIS PLACE !!!

First we arrive and there was nobody in the reception. We found a note with a new address and some keys. We went to the address and had to carry all the luggage 3 block away from the location. We got to the room and it was disgusting. The AC was not working, the towels had holes, the bathroom had fungus and there was white powder in the desk. I call the manage and he didn't answer. So we had to stay the night because it was already 12 midnight. We went to a meeting in the morning and after that I went to the reception and told them about the room. We tried to contact the property manager both the receptionist Federico and me and he didn't answer. I went and got another hotel cheaper then that one and much nicer 2 block from there and turn in the room to the receptionist telling them I want a refund for my room. They of course denied refund. Please dont book this place for your own peace of mind and health because its not sanatize and you wont get help from the owner.

Nice location, shame about everything else

The hotel was in a good location being close to the Vatican , but was initially hard to find as there was no signage for it. Once inside we were greeted by a rather blunt receptionist who took us to the room. The room is extremely small and tight , the room was not like any of the photos and from the photos you are led to believe it's the company owns the whole building, but instead it's an old flat that has been converted to be a hotel. You had to walk sideways past the bed to get to the other side of the room and had to squeeze through the door to get into the bathroom, as the bathroom door hit the bed. Alot of the sockets didn't work and the bedside lamps didn't work, alot of the walls and skirting boards were falling apart. There was only enough hot water for one person , if you wanted a second shower you had to wait for the boiler to warm back up. On the last day we found 3 large cockroach-looking bugs in the room but there was nobody to report it to. Check out is at 10:30 , reception advised that you can leave your bags at the reception area until you need to collect them but the front door was left open at all times and the reception was often left unattended. I wish I had read the Google reviews before staying (I would recommend anyone to view them before staying). Unfortunately would not stay again as it put a cloud over the holiday.

First of, the hotel room was not in the hotel building. Had to walk 3 blocks to get to another building. I’ve never booked a hotel room we’re i had to walk 3 blocks in the rain with my bags. Unbelievable. The room was not big, no big deal for Rome, since the rooms are fairly small. But the bed was another thing. Literally, the bed was like a pyramid. In the middle it was pointed and the edges were so leaned, our faces were facing the frame bar. Not cool. Wi-Fi Inter net was not working. Texted the front desk person who stated that they would look into it but never did. Not cool. Shower water was somewhat hot, but after like 3 minutes the hotness would go away. We might of shared a water heater with 3 rooms. So if you didn’t get hot water, then you would be showering with cold water. Not cool when the temperature was in the low 50’s in April. TV channels were all in Italian. The only good thing I would say about this hotel was location. It’s close to the Vatican, Metro, taxi stands, food and Gelato stores. Overall, on a scale of 0-5, I rate this hotel room/company a solid 1.5. Please don’t waste your time and money. Look somewhere else. :(

I am not sure where to start. This is not a hotel, this is more like one of those old buildings you see on old TV shows in New York City, you know where everyone is always complaining because nothing ever works? First off, look at the Google Street View of the location, there is no sign. It is more like an apartment someone owns in a building with a guy. So when you get there you are not sure you are there. Then somehow you have to get past a locked door. I finally figured this out and went up to the 3rd floor, probably better to expect to walk up the stairs. I got to the 3rd floor before the 2pm checkin and there as nobody there, the staff is only on duty very limited hours a day. As I was arriving late I was excited to pay for the 1st day because I thought that I would be able to checkin early, but no. No person around so I had to wait until 2pm to checkin even though I had paid for 1 full day I was unable to use. So the guy arrives, I get a Key for the room, the old, 100 year old looking key is difficult to use and I finally get into the room. It is Nothing like the pictures, this is a place to sleep for me and the bugs. Now lets ask why they exaggerate so much the "soundproofing" of the room. I was not in this room before the "soundproofing" was installed, only after and I can tell you they should fire the contractor who did the work. I could hear everything! No microwave, no usb charger, broken fridge, broken front door. wifi worked and it had a bed.

Only gave us one key per room and after some of us being locked in the room because others had gone out and locked the room as ones staying were sleeping, they were locked in and had to yell for someone to let them out. We then asked for another key and were told they only have one. We told them it was a fire hazard for them to be locked in and when we said if there actually was a fire the people locked inside would die, he just looked at us and said ya. Wasn’t impressed with service but room was fine

Property was in a great location for the Vatican and St Peter’s Square which was the main reason for choosing it. Accommodation is basic and clean but tired. Certainly no frills. No breakfast as advertised and paid for. Bedroom was in another building from the main one were you check in - 10mins walk. No daily room service to empty bins etc. but we were only there for 3 days so not an issue for us. It did the job for us which was basically a bed for the night but don’t expect anything more!!

I arrived earlier than check in time at a building that I could not find and residents couldn't identity either. Once I finally arrived, another property owner/manager let me in. I made my way upstairs and the rooms were being prepared for the next guests. After checking in a large party, I was next, paid my hotel tax and was told this was not the building where I was residing. I was instantly ticked off. I was escorted to another building about 4 blocks away. This is not the thing that you want to do in the heat of the summer and after a very long flight. Once at the other building, I was given 4 keys - Main door-key #1, upon opening you see 2 buildings-key #2 for my building. Elevator to my wing-using key #3 (this lock gave me problems every time, I even had to get other ppl to assist, when it would finally open-key# 4 to my room. The AC was not working properly, I attempted to make the room cooler (to no avail) then I popped into the shower, the shower didn't drain. My head was about to explode. After my shower, I messaged the "front desk" and shared my grievances and told them I was leaving for a few hours. Upon my return, with an electric fan in hand, all repairs were completed with a nice cool room and draining tub. Other annoying door #3, the AC and non draining tub, the small room was perfect for me. However, the bidet did not allow for the bathroom door to fully open, so I was always squeezing my way in and out.

The room that we stayed was not featured in any of the 132 pictures they have in Expedia. We walked to another building after checking in for another 5-7 mins. When we arrived at the property, we noticed how bad the room and we reached out to the person who checked us in. He explained that they managed many properties but I re-iterated that this particular room is unacceptable. He told me that he will talk to his manager and he will call me back but he didn’t. I called for the rest of the night but he did not answered any of my calls.
