"The Aparthotel Colombo Roma. This was a little further out of the city than I had thought, and not the easiest of things to find. On a main road between a row of shops and apartments there is a security gate through that and down an ally you find this hotel, very trendy, warm and welcoming. Staff were so helpful and friendly, breakfast was between 7-10 each day i never used this as i was out early. The room was very clean with a kitchenette with a fridge combi microwave and a dishwasher yet no pots! The transport network is good lots of busses outside the hotel the 160 and L70 both go close to the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. The Garbatella Metro station is about 10 minutes walk basicly turn left out of the hotel walk down to the traffic lights and turn left again just follow that road all the way to the motorway bridge and the station is on the left. I paid €22 for a 72 hr pass on all public transport Metro, Bus and Trams. Overall I enjoyed my stay and it was a good base. "

"For the price, you are paying for location only. The rest you need to go in with low expectations overall. It isn't by any means "bad" but for the cost, you can stay 5 min further and get a much better experience and quality. Pros: Location cannot be beat Families who want to connecting rooms will get it Breakfast is fine Noise levels were surprisingly fine for a hotel in this location and age. Despite being in the middle of Trevi, you would never know it. Tucked back a block - it's honestly wonderful to be so close but not in the chaos. This alone salvages what would otherwise be a disappointing stay. The managers allowed us to update our booking when we had an original mix up - I appreciate that they did NOT need to help and they did. Cons: Rooms are severely outdated. The wardrobes require physical assault to close. And you will wake up anyone asleep from the creaking. You'll be missing basics like bathroom amenities you'd expect for the price. Service is fine but not a highlight by any means. Basic, polite, slow, and that's it. Breakfast you won't find a cappuccino or fresh coffee aside from the machine. For the price, even the most basic table service of water and coffee would go a long way. Overall this was a fine stay, but we moved for the second half to Nerva Boutique Hotel for the same price, same double rooms, and wow it was a shocking upgrade. Just go with low expectations and you will be fine. But if you want something nicer, keep looking."

"Location was amazing. Loved that it was right next to one of the best tiramisu places in town and a nice little bistro and convenient store right downstairs and close by. It was an excellent walking location compared to the colosseum and Vatican areas. You could walk to shops and restaurants. Very nice staff and has an elevator and sitting area. Clean and cute courtyard. Definitely recommend!"

"Hotel interior is nice exterior needs a re model. But on the whole was nice hotel not cheap breakfast was €40 per couple far cheaper outside then the hotel but the food was self service for €40 I can get personal service. I anywhere. Thr gift shop staff. Should be fired rude. Indifferent to asking about where to get to some where so don’t bother with the guy in their who talking on his phone while I’m asking questions about Rome. Hotel shuttle more expensive then taxis to FCO 55£ cab €44 but hotel pool was shut indoor one open it’s lovely n steam. Sauna too excellent n free"

"Hotel is well maintained and well located, close to The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, a 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum which is not too bad and many others. Good food options around, breakfast is amazing, the room is small like any European Hotel but very nice and bathroom shower is espectacular!! We will stay here again in a couple of weeks and can’t wait to be back! Very well recommended!! "
