"The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.

"The room was very nice indeed, well designed, clean and comfortable, showing little to no wear and tear. Very comfortable bed. I received a warm and friendly greeting, and the pub itself has a very nice vibe, somewhat cooler than the sea-front hostelries, even thought it's only set back 100 yards."
"Just a 2 night stay. Small room with a small bath room. Plenty drawers and hangers enough plug sockets but no usb outlets.

Restaurant food is very very good and not silly prices.
Overall we loved our stay small room but short of nothing with good but small shower.

"My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life."
