"En arrivant, hotel fermé, il faut aller chercher sa clef a 1 km. Sur place, la gérante ne trouve pas trace de notre réservation, et pour cause, elle ne l'a pas enregistrée, nius attibut une chambre par defaut, nous affirmant que toutes ses chambres sont identiques, découvrons sur place une petite chambre d une 12 m2 environs ??? Alors que nous avions réservé une chambre familiale beaucoup plus grande ... qui existe bien sur les plans dr l hotel et sur l annonce en ligne. Je ne qualilifierai...

"The position and views from the house are incredible - an array of peaks and Montsegur in the distance. Communication was good and the house was clean with lots of space for everyone. Good quality furnishings in the rooms. Kitchen is a bit tired but that’s no big deal. We were there for a week during a heatwave and the house gets very hot indeed due to its beautifully exposed position - we had fans but no ac and you must keep windows and shutters closed at night to keep out the bugs and light, so it was rather uncomfortable. Some amazing walks in the area and fun activities such as canyoning and accrobranche, though the only place nearby to swim is Lac Montbel, which was soupy and muddy and not at all pleasant. Best for holidays during the spring or autumn I suspect, when you can really enjoy hiking in the mountains. Nearest town of Foix has an interesting castle, and there are supermarkets etc there and in Lavelanet."
