Host Philippe was fantastic, responded quickly and very accommodating - free WiFi was such a bonus too! "The apartment was as described and very comfortable for 4 adults. Communication was excellent and we appreciated that the host was wiling to be flexible with our check-in process since our train was delayed coming in to Paris. The apartment does appear to be in a bit of a 'red-light district' but is very close to many amenities, the metro and was quite safe. Highly recommended!"

"It was not what I expected. The small apartment is full of oversized furniture for the space. It's the owner's full time home and has his personal possessions everywhere. The bathroom was almost unusable and the portable AC hot air exhaust had to be vented out an open bathroom window. The location isn't bad and communications with the owner was good, but I would not stay in the apartment again."

"Katia and Thomas were great hosts, communicating with us clearly before and during the stay. The apartment was clean and in good condition, matching the pictures. The apartment is not near any of the tourist destinations but is less than two blocks away from two Metro lines, making it easy to travel to those destinations."

"We had a great stay at this property. Location was perfect for us. We were able to walk through Montmatre area to Sacre Coeur in 20 min as well as a 40-50 min walk to downtown area. Stairs to kitchen/2nd bedroom were steep and could use a hand rail but the place was updated and modern. Note there is no dishwasher or microwave."

"What an amazing experience! Frederick was great! This place is spacious and quiet. Perfect for relaxing after being a tourist all day. Just blocks from the metro station and the BEST croissants (2023 award) is right at that corner. Great restaurants on the canal which is only other two block walk. We highly recommend staying here!!!"

"Very nice apartment, decorated well. Chic. Photos are very accurate. It had a washer/dryer, full kitchen, nice bathtub, comfortable bed, etc. Easy check in. The apartment is in the 18th arrondissement in a quartier that is working class and immigrant. Paris is the crossroads of the world and this neighborhood reflects that. A very active street life which makes Paris fascinating. Everyone seems to know each other and have a good time. Great award winning French bakery up the block."

"Die Lage ist interessant. Wir, zwei Paare, haben das beste draus gemacht. Es gibt in der Wohnung erhebliche Mängel. Ein ! Stuhl, drei verschiedene kleine hocker, zwei Kaffeelöffel für vier, beschädigte Tapeten, die Amateuren in Bad und Toilette sind locker und müssten repariert werden. Offenbar kann man es sich in Paris leisten, damit Geld einzunehmen."

"The apartment was as described. On the third floor, but not difficult to reach (even though I am on crutches). In Paris one does not expect apartments to be spacious, but this was more than adequate for two. (For four it might be rather cramped). All the facilities that we required. The Belleville area is a lively district, and the Buttes Chaumont are lovely."

"Cramped apartment on sixth floor with no lift in a bad area with a shower that floods the bathroom and never dries. The host required I contact a private mobile number to check in and then contacted me off of vrbo late at night and tried to charge me for made up damages including unplugging the tv."

"Clean and well equipped. Fairly big space. Very close to the metro (less than 2 min walk to station). Close enough to major sites via metro, yet in a neighbourhood where people actually live. Area is beautiful, and close to great food. Would happily stay again. Host was wonderful, and allowed us to drop off our bags a little early. Would recommend."

"Property is fine on problems. Unique Paris apartment Neighborhood is not so good lots of men hanging around Metro station very non French area. Large police presence street drugs etc. No reflection on the property or owner. Easy access to all of Paris by Metro and trian. Watch out for pick pockets!! Got hit on twice."

"Very well located and functional apartment. Host Artur very responsive to inquiries. Only downside is carrying luggage up and down six flights of stairs. It does sleep 4, but all need to be on same schedule. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, general stores in the area if you need to buy anything."
