My main issue was the amount of noise inside the hotel itself. For the last couple of nights of my stay, there was heavy music and loud conversations continuing into the early hours of the morning, which was completely unacceptable for a hotel environment. Sleep was almost impossible.
I also got the impression that the hotel may be being used as sheltered emergency accommodation through the local council, which may explain the constant disturbance and lack of control over noise levels.
If you want a nightclub atmosphere on a weekday instead of a quiet hotel stay, then this is the place for you."
