"Perfectly located. Quiet. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and property. The property is a tad outdated but totally expected for such a tiny town. Had everything needed. Ate at the restaurant one time and was not a fan. Both me and hubby were not a fan of the meal we ate but to review appropriately maybe would have to try again. The hostess seating people definitely made the visit more pleasant, she was a darling. The server not so much unfortunately."

"The lodge was phenomenal! We had such a relaxing stay. The room was cozy with a beautiful view, and we loved the hot tub on the deck overlooking the lake. Breakfast was lovely and staff was so friendly and helpful! We will absolutely be back."

"We were looking for a destination that was quiet and offered us some solitude. We could not have found a better location!! It was peaceful, relaxing and very welcoming. We were there just a couple of days, and it felt like we were there for a long time. The amenities and the home are very well-maintained. But I cannot describe the views.....the views are SPECTACULAR !!! Thank you to the hosts, very open and transparent throughout the process."

"We had a great time at this little house, perfect location for a quiet vacay and lots of well-maintained hiking trails on old railbeds in close proximity to explore. Good stock of kitchenware made cooking a breeze and living areas were comfortable with a wood stove to make things cozy.A few quirks with the steep and uneven stairs to the bedrooms and vintage kitchen sink with the leaking faucet. We would have appreciated some comfy lawn chairs and a patio umbrella in addition to the existing picnic table in order to fully enjoy the nice backyard next to the creek.We loved that it was quiet, there was no tv/cell service, and there was a huge stock of books and games to enjoy. We’d stay again!"

"The Good: - The tiny house was very clean!!! - The hosts were great! They had the lights and heater on when we arrived, and they gave us a lovely little tour to get us settled. - The ferry ride was fun. - There was a window A/C unit and portable heaters to ensure we were comfortable. - The towels were so soft! - The main bed was comfy. Not sure about the other bed as the kids slept there. The Surprising: - There’s basically NO CELL SERVICE and no wifi. This was a problem for our group as we didn’t come prepared with any card games, etc. (It might be nice to have some provided). - The shower is in a little tent outside. I’m not sure where you’d set your clothes or towel while showering as there’s no private space to dress. Unfortunately, it wasn’t working when we were there, but the hosts allowed us to use another shower in another tiny house, but there were zero window coverings in the bathroom and the water went cold after only a few minutes. - The “1.5 baths” is actually 2 outhouses/pit toilets that you share with other groups. - Many of the window coverings were sheer (see through) and one window had no covering. The morning sun effectively woke us all up bright and early. The sheer curtains also made us uncomfortable when changing (especially when it was dark outside). - You can’t see the lake from the tiny house, but the view is still beautiful. Would we stay there again? Yes, but it wouldn’t be our first choice b/c the price seemed a bit high for the value."
