"Villa Casanova is a delightful small family run B and B situated close to the shops, restaurants and vaporetta stop, making it the ideal place to stay. The rooms are spotless and very quaint on the top floor. The breakfast choice is superb with all tastes catered for, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cold meats and hot croissants. "The shower had a poorly put up shower curtain. We were given two plastic cups, and a few pieces of soap. The door was not secure and there was a lot of light around the door. The third bed by the wall was next plumbing so every time the toilets flushed you could hear it. We never found a swim up bar, so I’m not sure if there was one somewhere. The staff was nice"

"This is an apartment in a 500 year old building. On the canal, large space with extra TV room. Nicely furnished small bathroom but nice. Very nice staff, and we were on the 4th top floor and there are no elevators. 54 stairs. Excellent buffet breakfast for 15 euros. Good Italian Venice experience."
