"when we arrived i asked the receptionist if we would be able to have an extended check out as i called in advance to ask and was told i would be able to check out at 1 the next day but just to reinforce this when i arrived. The receptionist wasn't very welcoming and dismissed us with the excuse of there not being enough cleaning staff and being busy. We got to our room and the tv did not work only showed "tv cannot connect to pc". we called downstairs to reception someone came to look and told us it would work "later" and was seeing if there were any other rooms available. we waiting for around 20 minutes with no update. we rang back to reception and was told the same thing. the same member of staff came to our room with breakfast tokens for the trouble of the tv. later on in the evening approximately around 9pm we called to see if there were any possible room service to which it was closed by that time. however, none of this was explained to us upon arrival. the next morning the breakfast was horrible. the scrambled eggs were rubbery, the toast was burnt, the bacon did not taste like bacon and the beans were watery. "

"Very good attention to detail. Spotless room, very friendly staff and especially the young lad bar tender - he was excellent. The food was the highlight for us - we had the giant fishcake, pate and a burger. It was by far the best restaurant experience we've had locally. Highly recommended!"

"Loud, kids running the corridors until god knows what hours at night. Staff didn’t want anything to do with it. Waited over an hour to be checked in. Key card didn’t work - waited further 40 min to be resolved , room amenities empty , room hot and aircon didn’t work. Don’t recommend. "

"Yes it was terrible. On arrival, they changed our room several times. There was no heating and no warm water. we complained to the management and was told we would get a refund but nothing was done. We didn't go the 2nd night and we still didn't get anything. Reported to expedia, was told they would look into it but it's been weeks now and no feedback. It's so sad because I have had multiple unpleasant experience with expedia and only just returned. But I guess they've not changed neither have they improved their services. It's such a shame as we had to book another hotel for the second night. Please be careful when you book on this site."

"Brrakfast was lovely although the pastry selection had vastly diminished within 10 minutes of breakfast opening and didnt get topped up or refreshed. Overall breakfast selection and quality was outstanding and served quickly. Room standard was also very good with lots of room. Friendly hotel and bar staff and would definitely recommend and stay again. Lots of available parking also."

"Really bad. Don’t stay here. The receptionist is really weird and made me uncomfortable by forcing to carry my suitcase. Guests want to privately enter their rooms, not have a stranger get close to them. I don’t want anyone to touch my suitcase especially because of COVID "

"Booked this location and received no communication from the host. As check in approached I tried contacting through the app and then contacted VRBO who gave us contact information. Tried calling multiple times and was hung up on each time. VRBO also tried to contact them regarding our booking and could not reach them. VRBO then refunded our booking for us. "
