"The pub is on a busy road but the room was set back from the road and there was no issue with the noise. Plenty of parking available. Unfortunately we stayed on a very hot night, and even with the fan provided we struggled to sleep. The room was very small and had strange plug sockets.Tea & coffee making facilities in the room were good. We chose to have dinner at the hotel and were both very pleased with our meals. "They accommordated us with an early check in at no extra cost, there was parking & a lovely breakfast all included in the price which was very reasonable. The rooms are lovely with water, tea & coffee & biscuits, there's a safe, and hairdryer and the beds are really comfortable. Could not fault it at all, would definitely recommend. I would definitely stay again.. "

"This place is excellent value with comfortable and classy rooms. A solid 8/10. It could so easily have been a 10! Simple things, could have really benefited from 2 comfortable chairs in the spacious bedroom, so as to enjoy the lovely gin provided. Food sounded and looked first class but nearly all the dishes we had were over salted. I’d stay again and try dinner next door as the place was very comfortable and set in a lovely village. "

"The staff were very amicable & accommodating, the building has some history and is quite interesting, but not well suited to ‘modern systems’ like the fire alarm - I didn’t enjoy being outside at 1am on a previous visit and 3am this time! "
