Quaint, old inn that was a delightful experience. The room was comfortable and adequate. The staff were all very friendly and the food was great. A very enjoyable stay.
Stayed at this property so we would be close to Jane Auston house museum. What a wonderful find. The room was very clean and the staff were wonderful. Parking was available right next to and behind the hotel. We had dinner at the pub and it was very tasty. Breakfast was great too!
My room was very comfortable with nice amenities, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food downstairs in the restaurant was delicious. I hope to stay at The White Hart again down the road.
Easy check in online prior to arrival. Was welcomed by friendly staff and were shown straight up to our room and advised on the evening meal options. Had dinner in the restaurant which was good, and a range of local beer was available.
Room was very comfortable with usual drink options plus a coffee machine. Good options on the breakfast menu, which was delicious.
Me and my husband have spent one nigh at the white hart and we'll be coming back for sure! The room was nice an clean, the bathroom was very clean too. Bed is very comfortable, bed sheets are soft and perfectly clean.
We also gad dinner and breakfast and the food was really high quality.
The staff is nuce and professional, always with a smile on their face 😀
We highly recommend this lovely place!
Thanks and see you soon!!!
Very pleasant stay at this pub with rooms. Good food, very good decor, good selection of drinks. Comfortable room and efficient service. One minor (and by no means a not uncommon situation these days); would young bar staff PLEASE stop referring to me as “mate”
I’m not your mate, I’m a customer.
Might be ok if the barman was Australian, but trust me; it’s not friendly, it’s disrespectful!!
Very much enjoyed our stay. Hotel in perfect position for us to meet our friends. Staff all excellent, friendly, polite and helpful. Room clean. Good sized shower. Comfortable bed. Would stay again.

Night stopover
Comfortable room good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Bit noisy with guests coming in and pub visitors sitting out talking but quiet after 11pm.
Room was comfortable and clean, no complaints at all. Service was friendly and helpful, I had booked breakfast and on checking out they noticed I hadn’t been down, so they immediately offered to make a bacon sandwich to take with me, really nice sandwich and great service
We had a warm welcome, the rooms are well laid out with en-suite, providing shower wash and conditioner. A welcome tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. There are ample plug sockets. The beds are comfortable and we also had a meal in the pub on the evening of our arrival. Food is lovely and certainly recommended. The rates are comparative to the area, and as it’s situated in Holybourne there wasn’t any traffic noise or town noise to content with.
There was a little bit of music noise from the pub til about 11:30 and again from 7:45 am but that didn’t disturb us.

Pleasant overnight stay (business)
Overall absolutely fine for an overnight business stay. All staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Just a couple of little things such as missing/ broken fittings in the bathroom (room 5 has end piece missing of the toilet roll holder meaning the roll slides off). The shower head is delicately balanced in the holder and moves depending on the water pressure. Little things that with some attention would turn a 4 out of 5 to a 5 out of 5.
Room was very nice and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were welcome and the fan as it was warm weather. People smoking on the front patio outside came straight through our open windows though which wasn’t so nice. We needed to have a quick breakfast and check out and despite telling the staff twice; once when we checked in and when we came down for breakfast, we had to leave without breakfast because after 30 mins we had only had our hot drinks.

Nice room, quiet location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, cheap place but good quality.
My partner and I had a lovely stay at The White Hart. The room was very clean and perfect for what we needed. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the pub was good, we ate in there on the first night of our stay. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the rack of ribs, it was all perfectly cooked and very tasty. If you do order the ribs, they're huge and overhang the plate so make sure you're really hungry! We paid for bed and breakfast and it's worth paying for as the breakfasts we had were very nice. The full English was good but the eggs benedict was my favourite. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will definitely stay there again in future.
