We had a lovely stay here. Our room was clean and spacious with an amazing view. Dinner and breakfast were good and the staff were friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but it is to be expected for it's age and size and didn't detract from our stay at all. The main areas were all great. Thank you!

Very clean and extremely helpful staff. I believe it is fairly obvious, but to climb either the front stairs, or follow the road to park a vehicle at the side of the hotel (beside red postbox) is fairly challenging for those of an elderly / infirm position. Anyone younger, it is a great workout routine! I WOULD BOOK this hotel again. Great area and nice short walk into town where you have everything you need.

Loved everything about the hotel, including the decor. The room was clean, & the bathroom had recently been updated and the shower was great. Reception, wait staff, & bar staff were all really helpful & nice. Definitely will be back.

This is a very good hotel , and the best value for money on the island. It is quite clearly an old hotel but very well looked after. The one down point for me would be the attention to detail with the cleaning of the rooms. The shower tray had hairs in it, the teaspoons and mugs were not clean. The carpet had quite a few "suspect" stains. Would definitely stay here again, but covered everything we needed to do on the island so probably wont be back for that reason. The breakfast was great.

There are parts of the exterior of the building that need some attention but overall it is a fabulous building standing above sloping gardens. Inside is beautiful. The bar and restaurant have sea views and are warm, cosy and welcoming. The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. Our room had a sea view. It was spotless as was the en suite.
