Beautiful location with lovely views. Traditional bedroom but with modern bathroom and walk in shower. Excellent buffet breakfast - food kept hot which you don’t always get with this style of breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful

We had a lovely stay here. Our room was clean and spacious with an amazing view. Dinner and breakfast were good and the staff were friendly. The hotel is a little tired in places but it is to be expected for it's age and size and didn't detract from our stay at all. The main areas were all great. Thank you!

Stunning location overseeing the Bay. The building is superb but badly in need of a full renovation especially the upstairs hallways. The carpets are threadbare & the walls seriously need replastering notwithstanding this the staff were very attentive & efficient. The food was excellent and the place was very clean. All of the above shouldn’t stop you enjoying staying in a stunning victorian hotel. I am sure the owners will eventually get the decor sorted out.

Very clean and extremely helpful staff. I believe it is fairly obvious, but to climb either the front stairs, or follow the road to park a vehicle at the side of the hotel (beside red postbox) is fairly challenging for those of an elderly / infirm position. Anyone younger, it is a great workout routine! I WOULD BOOK this hotel again. Great area and nice short walk into town where you have everything you need.

This is a very good hotel , and the best value for money on the island. It is quite clearly an old hotel but very well looked after. The one down point for me would be the attention to detail with the cleaning of the rooms. The shower tray had hairs in it, the teaspoons and mugs were not clean. The carpet had quite a few "suspect" stains. Would definitely stay here again, but covered everything we needed to do on the island so probably wont be back for that reason. The breakfast was great.
