Par contre, la chambre était exiguëe avec le lit contre un mur et pas de lampe de chevet. La lunette des wc n'était plus fixée. La nuit a été cauchemardesque : le lit grinçait à chaque mouvement, le matelas à ressorts était très inconfortable et les oreillers horribles. "Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

Das Wasser war für die Jahreszeit (Oktober) zu kalt zum Baden. Aber laut Betreiber sollen nächstes Jahr ein Teil der Pools mit Wärmepumpen ausgestattet werden.
