"The property was very near the cliff path walks for those who enjoy this and whale watching. The Town center is very nice especially the waterfront. However this is a 40min walk from the property and despite their website and information booklet stating a shuttle bus service there is none, be warned. Taxis are at a premium so you may have a long wait. The room was very spacious and bed comfortable. The pool was not so good with paint peeling off the bottom and is very small. Top Route 62 Hotel Reviews

The Commodore Hotel

The Commodore Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The Commodore is a very nice hotel, very close (just a few minutes walk) from the attractions, shops and restaurants of the V&A Waterfront. It is well maintained, exceptionally clean, has great furnishings and tasteful modern decor. The restaurant and food are very good and the staff very polite, friendly, helpful and accommodating. It is not far from the City Centre and is an excellent base from which to explore Table Mountain and the rest of the scenic Cape Peninsula. It has a distinct upmarket ambiance. I have stayed here twice in the last 5 years. Highly recommended!"
