"Our room was very clean and nice. Limited breakfast menu, but we made due. Sadly there was a truck in the other hotel parking lot that kept its engine running all night. Beds were comfortable. We would stay again. "

"I had a very nice stay at this hotel while attending the Illinois State Fair. I stayed in the original part that was built for Route 66 traffic. The lobby and common areas has lots of Route 66 memorabilia to enjoy.
The hotel and my room was very clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. My room was large. I believe the hotel was updated in the late1990s so the decor is a bit dated, but is in great shape.
I had read a few reviews that said the hotel smelled, but this was definitely NOT the case. Next time I'm in Springfield, I'll stay here again"
"It was in its own little corner. The staff checked me in about 20 minutes earlier than 3pm with no objections or anything. The breakfast was great and it was a quiet peaceful experience. I loved it!"
