"This was generally a nice property to stay in. There were a few technical issues on check in but these were sorted very quickly. The wifi isn’t very strong and as soon as I moved into the bedroom it disconnected me every time. Overall it was a very clean place except for the kitchen. Most of the dishes in the kitchen cupboards were dirty and I had to wash everything before I used it. As was the stove top and bench. Another little problem is that they say they will charge £10 for any unwashed...

"Booked through hotels.com paid via home and let ltd. A day before arrival I get an email letting me know my booking has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. DO NOT BOOK VIA HOME AND LET LTD. When I spoke to the hotel they said the same thing happened to another guest last week! "

"This is a subdivided residential unit. It's small and does not have a table for eating. We found that it was missing some basic amenities like bedding for the second bed, hand soap and tea towels. There was also a party above us the night we stayed. The host was responsive on WhatsApp. I would not stay again."

The heat in the apartment was unbearable, it was only 19 degrees outside but the apartment had no air movement at all and the windows opened a very limited amount. "From the start to the finish everything was perfect. Paul and Elaine were so friendly and welcoming, we did not have any issues whats so ever. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice relaxing weekend away from reality. Me and my partner will definitely be coming back up again later on in the year."

"Property was what we expected. Only niggles I’ve got are: Beds in the second bedroom were a little small, I’m 5’11’’ and was too tall for it. There was a constant sound from what could have been a boiler that did keep me up at night. Host was responsive and polite though. Overall good stay. I’d recommend, but for slightly smaller people who don’t mind constant noise."

We stayed 2 days and then came back for another 2 days and it was so nice to have a place that was familiar and a place where I know the owners were responsive and considerate, not to mention clean!"
