"The Tamarijn was overall wonderful. The price was amazing for a waterfront, all inclusive. Our room was walk out and directly on a rocky (retaining style) beach. Though swimming areas were less than a minutes’ walk away on the same resort. The room was fine- not amazing, but did the job and we didn’t spend much lounge time in there anyway. Often we would get less bath towels than number of people in our party- which was annoying but fixable. The property was full and slightly noisy - can hear people talking, car horns from the nearby J.E. Irausquin blvd. Even with a full resort, there were always open lounge chairs by the pool, open tables at the buffet, and a sense that you weren’t in a crowded resort. The food was average- our kids preferred pub food served at the bar/pool areas. Evening buffets were busy- so would suggest booking reservations for the resort’s finer dining options. Divi beach split the two sister resorts and was one of the more beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen (we liked it better than Eagle beach as well). We just left and I’m already planning to return here as soon as possible. Loved it. "

"We loved everything about our vacation. Everything is very accurate, close to beaches , shops , restaurants and bus terminal. We didn’t need to rent a car. Rene met with us to help us discover all the good things about this Happy Island. We will definitely return. Thanks "

"The reception desk and the supervisor were incompetant. I was charged for my room and for someone elses room. before i disputed this I called VOCO in Aruba to have them correct the matter. They insisted there was no mistake and sent me an invoice that was not even the correct amount. I had to go through the hassle of disputing the charge with my CC company and if you have ever done that you know it is stressful. The supervisor was not going to look into the matter any further she just insisted she was correct. The man ahead of me as we checked out was complaining to her also that his breakfast was included and she insisted he was srong...noe I wonder. HOWEVER....the facility was very nice and the bartender gets a 10 as he was great. Just be careful and check your credit card charges as this was not a good ending to our vacation."
