"The hotel was lovely , clean and bright. The breakfast room was light and airy and the selection for breakfast excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they were lovely. The restaurant was good, we had one evening meal there and it was very pleasant, staff were very attentive and we enjoyed the jazz band. We had a pool view room, the room was spacious , the only negative was the heat in the room , it would benefit from air con. We requested an additional fan and it was delivered the following morning, but the room did remain extremely hot, that is the only negative on what was a very pleasant stay"

"Excellent hotel and staff we where visiting for our 40th wedding anniversary as we had honeymooned on the island. We have visited on many occasions but our first visit to this hotel and would definitely recommend. Excellent position for the Battle of the Flowers parade."

"Stayed 4 nights with two teens. They loved the pool and garden. It’s a bit outside of St Helier so a car was useful. Pool bar and snacks were good but expensive. Didn’t stay for dinner as a 3 course menu only from 6.30-8pm which was more suited to the package holiday crowd. There was 70s style entertainment in the evenings."

"Fantastic location opposite the beach and lido with regular bus service. Had a spacious room with balcony and sea view. Buffet breakfast - good quality and freshly cooked. Ate in the restaurant a few times in the evening. Food and service were first rate. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."

"The dining area and the lounge were excellent. The rooms were small and had poor cupboards in them. No aircon just a small desk fan - very warm room! Service outside the bar (ie around pool are) was extremely slow."

"The golden Sands is a stunning family run hotel right on Saint Beard Beach, and the highlight are the excellent staff. The restaurant is great and the rims are average sized and well worth the Seaview. The only comment would be no air-conditioning, not normally a problem given the Seabreeze but it was really hot during our day. I’ll definitely return."
