"It is an older property but every necessity was taken care of. It was very clean and felt like home and family. The chef was also excellent. The presentation and quality of the food was on point. I travel the world and stay many places but rarely leave a review. I’m not even from the same country of this property but it was quite clear somebody takes a lot of pride in it. It really did make me feel like home."

"Fine hotel, but there’s room for improvement. Was traveling with my friend through Romania and this hotel was one of the less service minded. When we checked it the reception guy had limited English skills. Even in the restaurant there was lack of communication skills. But we manage to order anyway with pointing on the menu card :-) I would suggest the restaurant to welcomes their guest instead of looking scared at “English people” breakfast felt awkward. "Great place, far from the world, with a great view on Mount Omu. Spa and pool are great as well (even if we shared them with a family with awful kids...). Cocktail with a view, great dinner with a view, and amazing breakfast with a view. The only thing was that we booked for 3 with our 6-year-old daughter who had no bed because considered as "sleeping with parents in a king size bed". We should have booked an extra-bed... which was not mentionned neither by Hotels.com nor the hotel. the hotel...

"Front desk staff was not very helpful or engaging. There is no option for breakfast at the hotel, but you can get breakfast at a hotel down the street whether you purchase breakfast included or not. "I stayed here only 2 nights. the place itself is beautiful overlooking the mountain . Place was clean and vey comfortable. breakfast is very good and so is dinner. Now for the negative no receptionist to welcome you. If you go late you stay outside. Too many bus loads of hikers stay there and they are catered to 1st Since i did not get a paper of when to check out i did not know.
