The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. Amazing stop for us. Absolutely splendid hotel with wonderful grounds! Our boys loved the outdoor grounds for exploring and playing soccer (football). Stayed here in a family room (5 of us)--plenty of space, overlooking pool. Wonderful service and attention. Convenient for our visits to Avebury and Bath.

The location was excellent and was within easy walking distance to the historic center of Bath.

The inn was beautiful. The location is perfect. It is right outside Bath, next to the horse racecourse. The room was nearly brand new which was both good and bad. The good was it was spotless and well maintained. The bad was the radiator wasn’t working the first night so my son was shivering all night. Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.

Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost

Very lovely and quiet hotel within a comfortable walking distance to the tourist attractions, with free parking permit provided. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Really recommended for visitors with the car.
