Cabin in Ruidoso
We enjoyed our time in Ruidoso. The weather was nice and cool.
Cabin was warm, welcoming and very comforting. The hot tub was very welcoming after a long day of shopping. Excellent communication with the host! We enjoyed our stay and will Definitely stay again soon. Oh, don't forgot to bring a trinket to leave on the tree!
My family and I stayed here while visiting Ruidoso for a ski trip. The house was very nice and offered the "country cabin" feel we were looking for. Great location, easy to find. The kids enjoyed seeing the mule deer in the front yard each morning.
An awesome cabin. We needed more days! Everything we needed! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Great getaway Cabin
The cabin is quite comfortable and spacious. The outdoor space is devine also, with plenty of seating, grill and then the hot tub. We didn't have enough time to thoroughly enjoy it as much as you can. Will be visiting again! Easy to get to and close to emenities.

Can't wait to come back!!!
Absolutely LOVED this home! From the minute we got there we felt like we were on vacation! Such a fun spot, convenient to all Ruidoso has to offer, yet private location away from neighbors! Super clean, all the amenities, and our favorite part was hand feeding deer off the porch each day! Perfect location for a romantic getaway or fun with friends! Can't wait to come back! Thank you for a great Ruidoso lodging option! Take something for the memory tree!
Clean, comfortable, everything you need to cook, relax, and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. We had many deer, and a few elk in the front yard! So beautiful, but MY favorite was sitting in the hot tub watching it snow!!!

Light sleepers need not apply
No sleep the first night due to rain and a barking dog… of course this isn’t the homeowner’s fault. Overall we enjoyed the cozy cottage. Good space for just relaxing and not far from anything.
The picture of the property on your website didn't accurately display the property. It is in a bad neighborhood, and there is yard art that is not pleasing to the average customer (my opinion). Using extension and power strips for electricity is not safe. There are not enough kitchen linens. House was clean. Nancy Gilmore

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and cozy, and my kids loved the outdoor swings. They also were able to feed a deer right from the porch one morning.
We were a bit surprised when we arrived because the outside of the cabin did not look much like the pictures, and the neighborhood wasn’t what we expected, as we were very close to other houses, many run down. I think the pictures should be updated. Also, it was very hot and muggy when we entered the house. It took about 6 hours to cool the cabin down, as nothing was turned on when we arrived (just not expected after a long drive), but once it was cooled, it stayed cool. There also were curtains for doors which made it difficult for our baby to nap.
Overall, it was very comfortable and met all our needs after the initial surprises. The neighbors were friendly, and it was close to many things.

For the most part the stay was great. I will say the owner does not show much of a care once you have given your money. We reached out several times and never received a response. And we know they were getting the messages because they did send us the code to get in. Even after that we said thank you and again no response. We pulled out the sofa bed and it had broken springs. Looked like it had been broken awhile and we could never get it to go back in. Sleeping in the bedroom was hard due to the ice melting from the trees banging on the roof. Definitely not a place for light sleepers. That’s why we were trying to sleep on the sofa bed. And all things that needed propane had empty propane tanks. Beautiful place though.
Overall, it was just ok. We felt like this was one of those situations where the photos aren't quite accurate. We thought based on photos and description that this would be a cozy Ruidoso cabin type experience, but that's definitely not the case.
The surrounding area is quite depressed and junky. Things felt a bit dirty and old outside around the yard.
Inside, it was mostly peaceful and quiet and a good stay, but there isn't much privacy in the bathroom because of the sliding barn door, and the rooms are separated by thin walls that have a gap between the top of the wall and the ceiling. You can everything just as if you're in the same room.
We stayed warm though.
It's OK overall, Just don't think it's a cozy mountain cabin experience if that's what you're after.
Kinda small cabin. But for me and my wife was perfect size.. hot tub look nice didn't use it wife got sick on trip but over all good place. Deer walk right up to the cabin. For the price it was worth it. Nice to get away from work and the city life.. 🙏
