"Fabulous old palace containing the bar, restaurant and lounge areas, whilst the rooms are in a modern new wing decorated with interesting modern art. Appreciated the tray of crackers, cheeses and cold cuts that were waiting for us in the room. Comfortable room, fantastic view. Good btreakfast and lovely helpful staff."

"Our stay at Villa Lara was amazing from start to finish. The property was perfect for our needs. The little touches like the tennis courts and the pool were a big hit with the teenagers as well as the added extras offered by Larissa in the way of jewellery making and massages for the adults. Raymond and Larissa were extremely welcoming and the communication before our arrival was excellent. As we had a late flight on the day of departure they allowed us to leave our bags at the property until late afternoon which made the transition much easier with our large party of 10. The location of the property was perfectly described and the town of Estoi was easily accessible. The recommendations of restuarants and places to visit suited our needs perfectly. Thankyou for a great stay and would recommend in a heartbeat."

"Unlike busy Faro, this is in a nice area following a rural unpaved road. Very nice place to relax away from the noise, to observe the local birds and close enough to the popular destinations. Antonio the host is a wealth of knowledge and grows a lot of fruits and plants on site. About 15 mins to Faro’s airport and then MAR shopping center ."
