"Great little cabin for a quick trip. We stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect for my family of 4 - kids ages 2 & 4. There is a cute creek and big rock they climbed in the morning as I made breakfast. The use of Nordic Village amenities is key! The cabin is very small, but it was everything we needed. "Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake."

"We had a few hiccups (cleaning company hadn’t come) but fortunately the people before had left the house in good condition. The owner was so really responsive and tried to fix the situation as quickly as he could which we really appreciated. Also, The top bunk does not have a rail so I would avoid having kids up there if you can!"

"We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again!"

"My husband and I spent a week at this wonderful cabin. Though the cabin is located next to a road there was little to no traffic during the day and nonexistent during the night. The cabin is spotless, up-to-date with one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve had the pleasure of cooking in on vacation in a long time.
