Just an hour or so outside of Barcelona is the small village of Rupit, with castles and medieval stone houses dating back to 968 AD. A small hike from the village will bring you to sweeping views of this valley and a nearby waterfall Salto de Sallent. Worth the trip if you are spending some time in Barcelona

"We rented both villas, both had everything that we could need. Villas are a little way from the larger supermarkets. Taxi' s were good. Car hire would be a must. Jospeh was fantastic with all our enquires before our stay and during. Maintenance team were very fast in responding when light bulbs needed changing. Pools were clean. Could not fault these villas."

"Beautiful stone home, built in 1780, lots of need for improvement. We were four adults, arrival was scheduled for 4:30 on Sunday. The host postponed our check-in until 7 pm. No rationale and no apology provided. This was problematic as we were not able to get dinner or groceries – restaurants opened in town at 7 pm. We were shocked to learn that the road to this house was a very steep, winding, unassumed - , basically dirt, grass, rocks for 10 minutes. A smaller vehicle would not be able to...

"La maison est super, nous avons passé une super semaine début août 2023. La proximité de Gérone est appreciable mais tout en gardant le calme de la campagne. Nous avons visité Barcelone ainsi que les jolies plages proches de Begur et surtout les criques à côté de platja d'Aro. Une belle région. Virginie"

De noche se ven las estrellas y no hay nada de ruido. Quedamos encantados y con ganas de volver. Muchas por hacernos la estancia tan agradable."

"La maison est comme sur les photos, très bien entretenue ! Il faut noté qu’il n’y a que le rez de chaussé qui est dédié aux locataires et que l’étage est occupé par la propriétaire. Ceci n’a pas été dérangeant pour nous mais au contraire très pratique car elle passe récupérer les poubelles et ramener des bidons d’eau lorsque nous en avons besoin. L’emplacement est idéal, très calme et isolé mais il y a quand même pas mal de commerces a proximité (environ 10min). Tout s’est bien passé, merci...

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent, family owned hotel that deserves an official 4 star (not 3 star ) classification. Rooms and beds are modern with Rituals shower gels and soaps. Beds were comfortable. Aircon was very good Restaurant deserves praise. Excellent quality and value (better than some restaurants in the city) Small complaint- gym- no towels provided. Cross trainer would be a welcome addition. To charge for the small jacuzzi is laughable why not just let people use it for free or remove and make the gym bigger Would definitely stay here again"

"We spent two nights in Girona. What a surprisingly special little city in Spain. Underrated!!! Gorgeous!!! The hotel is perfectly situated where you can walk to everything and the dining in Girona was insanely good; like any major city, but with a small city feel. This hotel is ultramodern and crazy comfortable. Would stay again. "
