"The lodge was perfect for 2 couples and a great base for walking in the Peak District. The lodge its self was clean and cosy and had the bonus of the hot tub to sooth achy limbs! Check in was very simple and secure & communication with the manager was fantastic and very prompt. There is a great pub 15 mins walk from the lodge The Plough Inn, which server great food , I would recommend booking to eat there as it was very busy. "Booked a family room on the morning of the stay. It was an emergency booking on the day of oasis as the accommodation we booked cancelled our stay. We paid £100 and were allowed early check in for free. Free parking. The hotel looks a little tired on the outside but inside it’s fresh and modern. The bar has a good selection and cheaper than pub prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and beds were comfy. Perfect place without a massive price tag"
