Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester, Airport

8/10 Good

"Staff were a little rude but the room was quiet and comfortable."

Malmaison Manchester

8/10 Good

"The room was excellent and quiet. I slept well which is a huge compliment to the hotel, as that’s rare for me. Very comfortable bed with perfect linen. The bathroom suffers from design faults but was fine. For example, you can’t reach the bath taps, once you are lying in the bath. But the bath and shower and availability of of hot water was excellent. The breakfast service was poor. The tea water (self-service) was lukewarm and there was no oat milk. Staff seemed overwhelmed. The bar service was slow due to demand outstripping staffing levels. The staff worked very hard and did a long shift. I gave up waiting to order a drink before heading out to my event but stuck with it at 10.30pm when I arrived back. A great cocktail when I got it, Perfect location almost opposite Piccadilly station and opposite a late night Sainsburys. I’ll return, but I hope they can employ more staff to make it an even better experience."

Leonardo Hotel Manchester Central

8/10 Good

"We stayed in a basic room with a double and single bed. It had everything needed for a short stay and the public areas seemed clean and well maintained. Whilst the room overall was clean, the bathroom was in need of a housekeeping inspection as the underside of the toilet rim was visibly black and the back of the bath taps also were in need of a toothbrush and some bleach! No breakfast was included in our booking and we declined to pay extra for the breakfast as it was a flat rate of £14? and for those just requiring toast and coffee it was not good value. The cost of the drinks and snacks on offer in the foyer also seemed on the high side. Room value for money was good and the hotel position for our needs was excellent."
