"This is easy to find from the motorway, easy parking (pay extra).. 5 mins away from my airport oarking. Comfy rooms, very soundproofed, good air con. Good shower. Bed comfy but pillows a bit hard for me but sure they could have done something if I'd asked as the staff were lovely & chatty (I couldn't be bothered tbh)..Food was ok, not amazing, but did it's job after a long drive (but expensive for what you got). Left at 5.30am & could take breakfast croissants, pain au choc, fruit & coffee with me which was unexpected. Good value though."

"The place is accessible and a few minutes from the airport. Although the room is small, it is not bad. The food and room are pricey, but much cheaper than other nearby hotels. At first, the staff member wasn't welcoming when I asked for a glass of milk, but he served it after I paid. He served it in a small glass, then later changed it to a big one. Thank you for doing that. The same staff member told me off and was sarcastic with me when I asked to eat the ordered food in my room. He told me that the table was designed for eating. He said the plate was too hot to carry. However, I suggested putting an extra plate so that I could carry it, and he agreed. I showed the same staff member my All-Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Reward because I thought I could get a discount on the food, but he informed me that there would be no discount. However, he did not scan or enter my All-Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Number when I purchased food and drink at the bar."

"We stayed at the Clayton Hotel for 1 night, 5 hours to be precise. This was to enable us to get a few hours sleep before our early flight. Checking in was simple. You could either go to the desk or do self check in, which is what I did. That was very easy and quick. We found our room quite quickly. We had booked a room that slept 3 as our daughter was with us. The room looked clean and tidy and the bathroom to. The only little niggle was the overflow in the sink looked very mouldy (just a bit of bleach would have cleared that away). Otherwise all looked good. Now coming to the beds......wow, the mattresses were so comfortable, I didn't want to get up. It was the first time I got out of bed without every bone creaking. My husband and daughter also commented on how comfortable they were. So yes I would definatly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed in the new extension which whilst you had to use 2 lifts and some long corridors to get to, was all very nice. The walk to your room takes you past the pitch view which is very interesting and gives you a flavour of watching sport here. We were here for the 2026 Manchester Half Marathon, which as the event village was in the Hilton's car park couldn't have been better situated! Old Trafford tram is also right by the hotel, taking 20 mins into town The room was well appointed, clean and of good quality. There was a Smeg kettle and stylish Smeg fridge which is a godsend for drinks etc Overall I would definitely stay here again as was a good price as well"

"It’s a lovely hotel. Great setting. Staff are good. The only disappointment is that if you are on bed and breakfast basis you have to pay £25 per person daily to use the pool. This extra charge for the spa is understandable but the pool is surely part of the general facilities of the hotel."
