"Clean and pleasant "

"Whilst this once nust have been a high prestige hotel to stay at, it's decay is obvious. The wind howls through the corridors and rooms permanently as the floors are uneven and the windows are wonky, creating a permanent draft. I specifically chose this place because it stated it had a gym, but upon arrival I learned that more than 60% of it was closed because of water damage, with buckets on the floor all over, an evil stink of humidity as water was dripping from the ceiling. Ridiculous they still informed me they also charge 6£ for a day pass, despite only some weights and a bike and pool/titsy tiny sauna were accessible. Why did they not inform me? I would've cancelled my booking and stay at the Leewood, which is fab and has a functioning clean gym. I'm really annoyed and tempted to ask money back. There's no room service during the stay unless one explicitly asks for it. Flaky wifi also, making it a fail for my business trip. Total disappointment! I'll discourage anyone from staying there. "

"We loved the roof top pool. Food, room and staff were all excellent. Thought valet parking was very expensive though."

"Great for an overnight stay before an early plane journey. Bar and restaurant good. Room ok but facilities showing signs of wear and tear. Bath water was a dribble and wouldnt fill properly and not enough hot water when eventually did. Shuttle bus now larger and less frequent so alliw extra time to get to the terminal. Good parking on site and near Drop and Go multistory for a less expensive option."

"Comfortable beds, quiet and easy to use hotel"

"Nice room, restaurant and bar area. Good breakfast and evening meals. Staff were friendly, stayed a few times and always had a good stay. Recommend for anyone going to/from Manchester Airport."
