"The room furnishing is a bit dated with basic wear and tear for its age, but it is very clean. It smells fresh upon entering. They even provide boutique-typed toiletry items that are different from other low-budget hotel chains that I normally don't use but I did take home with me this time. I had to switch out the first room they gave me due to a faulty AC unit missing a turning knob, and it got resolved right away. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. You get a gorgeous mountain view behind the hotel property, which is located very conveniently off the interstate exit. There are two restaurants just across the street. There are few basic breakfast items comparable to the nightly rate you pay."

"This is the perfect little cabin for two or a small family. Lots of fun activities provided (games, firepit, movies) and great seating areas out back near the rushing Colorado creek. Comfortable bedroom and bathroom and a well stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to reach with questions and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again!"

"We travel to Rye a couple of times per year to visit family and since there’s no room for us with family we need a place close by to stay. This met all of our needs. It’s comfortable, well stocked and has a fenced yard for our little dogs. It’s close to our family but there’s also plenty to do and see while you’re there. We drove to Westcliiffe and saw the beautiful fourteeners mountain range and ate lunch at Chappy’s Bar and Grill. We highly recommend it for the beautiful scenery and good food! Also, you can stop at St. Isabel and Bishops Castle along the way. You won’t be sorry you chose to stay at this lovely little house!"
