Great location and better so, the staff was great. I left a valuable item behind and called a few hours later and they were able to locate the item and return to me.

Residence Inn by Marriott Portsmouth Downtown/ Waterfront
The breakfast had all kinds of goodies. Oatmeal, with several toppings to choose from. The hot menu seems to change from day to day. We were there for a week, had eggs & bacon one day, then sausage patties and links the next. They surprised me on day 4 by having spinach quiche! Cereals, juice, breads, ...
